When you are thinking with the mind of Christ you are thinking about
the future, now. Tomorrow is not the
result of what happened to you unaware, but tomorrow becomes the result of what you did about tomorrow, today.
A pro-active perspective is when you think ahead of today - you see ahead in your inner vision - so that when you get to where you were
thinking about today, you will have had time:
- to consult with God on the matter
- to wait on God in the matter
- to praise God in the matter
- to pray about the matter
- to get a bigger and better perspective on the matter
- to trust God in the matter
Then, when you get to where you were thinking about getting - under the
leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit - the vision - the desired end of
what you were believing for - (may have changed from your original vision), but
it will be better because God was in it.
When you have a pro-active perspective, the future doesn’t catch you off guard - you catch the future in your mind first and then, in God it becomes your life."
Note: Are you thinking 'this is rubbish - another positive thinking guru trying to get me to buy into "everything will be perfect if I just get things in line with God." No. But I am saying that a pro-active perspective will lesson the failures and strengthen the successes, lesson the damage you do others and increase the blessings you bring to others.
