"Abiding - John
15:4-5
4. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch
cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except
ye abide in me.
5. I am
the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same
bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Abide in
what you believe long enough to turn into something. Abide in
what you believe long enough for God to show Himself worthy and to reveal His
glory.
Listen,
when you want something to taste real good, you don’t just throw it in a pan
and take it out real quick - no way - you saute’ it or marinate it or soak it
or blanch it or slow cook it. You want
your dish to take on the flavors of the seasonings or spices you use.
God wants you to abide in what you believe:
To practice it
To use it
To tell it
To season it with faith
To see it go through a few things
To watch the faithfulness of God as He works in it
To build a testimony
