God Thinking XC - A Season Of Favor 9

"Like I said, If you are thinking that this is just like any other generation in history and there is nothing special to consider,  and that you are just another person in history that just happened to land here by accident.  Consider this:

Since the re-creation of the nation of Israel in 1948, more major biblical prophesies are being fulfilled in less time than ever before.
The creation of the European Union
The Red Heifer - The partitioning of the West Bank
The consideration of a one world government
The building of a 200,000,000 person army of which
China now has 198,000,000
The population has increased more in the last one hundred years than in any time in history and there are more people on earth than ever before.
Not to mention all that is happening in the Middle East.
Divers earthquakes, famines, terrorism, genocide, et al.

There is something else happening that points to the times we are in.

Acts 2:16-17
16.  but this is that which hath been spoken through the prophet Joel:
 17.  And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of My Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams:

Hebrews 10:37
37.  For yet a very little while, He that cometh shall come, and shall not tarry.

Here’s where I am going with this:
Never before in history has this world had you in it to make a difference.

You were called for a purpose and that purpose is first to serve God with your whole heart, mind and body.

Secondly, you were called to reveal your relationship with God to others.

God has freed you up to get closer to Him than ever before.

God doesn’t just want you in His camp, God wants you to operate in faith and to be a shining light in a dark and troubled world.

God has begun a good work in you and He is going to accomplish it by His Spirit.

God has poured out His favor upon you, not trickled out, poured out.

Receive the Word of God into your heart and worship Him for what God is going to do in the rest of the tomorrow’s of your life."

Note: Feeling like this is a pipe dream. You can thank faithless pastors and humanist political leaders for that. while God has already endorsed you to be a shining light in a dark world the world has said your light is of no real significance.  While God has provided you with every component to live a life of worth the world is stripping you of any notion of success through advertisement and debt. Believe God or believe the world, that is your choice, but when trying to decide remember that you, right now, at this very moment are living in a season of favor with God.

God Thinking XC - A Season Of Favor 8

"If you are thinking that this is just like any other generation in history and there is nothing special to consider,  and that you are just another person in history that just happened to land here by accident.

No way.

You have been commissioned to fulfill the Word of God.  You were created by the foreknowledge of God to be present during the time of times and ½ a time as spoken of in the book of Daniel.

Consider this.  Biblical prophesies that are distinctly spoken by God to take place in the last times are being fulfilled exponentially more rapid than ever in history.

There were seasons in the scriptures that took place in fulfillment of prophesy that took millennium or centuries to be fulfilled and rightfully so as God unfurled His plan for mankind in increments and performed His will over long periods of time.

But since the moment that Jesus spoke the words, “It is finished” (John 19:30) and John wrote that we were living in “the last times” (1 John 2:18) and that the “spirit of antichrist” is already here, (1 John 4:3), God foresaw the times that you would be in when the writers of scripture were instructed to write.  God chose you and has prepared you for this point in history.

You have been seasoned, each with your own special place in God’s economy to make the body of Christ whole in this season of favor.

God Thinking XC - A Season Of Favor 7

"Not only has God (again in this era) (your time and mine) provided every necessary component for your abundant physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual growth... Are you receiving this?  Do you believe that God, in His wisdom chose a time such as this to pour out His Spirit?

Do you believe that God is alive and working among mankind today to build up His people and to bring in new people into His fold?

Do you believe that God looks at you and is pleased, not because of anything you did or anything you accomplished or because of your blood line or that your uncle was a pastor, but simply because God is who He is and loves you in spite of your past:
in spite of your accomplishments
in spite of your abilities
in spite of your talent and skill
in spite of your religious affiliation

I believe that you are in a season of favor and God is sending you a message in your heart that goes like this:

“I have chosen you to be my people in this very weighty and troubled time of times.

The tasks at hand are great, so I have poured out My Spirit upon You.

You will accomplish My good pleasure by your faith.

Let your faith have precedence over your circumstances.

Submit to My will and I will empower you for this time of times.  My power will not only be seen through mighty works, but through restraint.

Your dreams will be different, because I will show you things to come.  In your daydreams I will instruct you.  And your vision will be further out than ever before.

When you read My Word, you will go deeper than ever.  What you once thought unimportant will become prophesy fulfilled, because you are living in the time of times and ½ a time.”

God Thinking XC - A Season Of Favor 6

"What I am about to share with you is not news, but it is good news.

God has established His Word to come about or to come forth at His will.
We know that God established covenants with the Israelites.  We know that God established a new covenant with us/you, those of us/you who believe that Jesus Christ is Savior, those who have accepted the vicarious sacrifice of Christ for their salvation.

We know that since creation God established times and seasons, dispensations, eras in time where God unveils more of His plan and establishes covenant that perfectly fits the times and the seasons.

We know that in each era of time God provided for the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual growth of each and every person on earth.

Did all accept God’s ways?  No.
Did all follow His leading?  No.
Did even the majority of people at any one time in history choose to follow after the heart of God?  No.

And so it is today. Don't be so surprised. Things are gong along exactly the way God said it would.

Note: I know that the statement "Things are going along exactly as God said it would" makes some people like God even less.  They figure that if God knew what was going to happen to their best friend, or the death of their father/mother/child that God should have done something to stop it. Try to think of it this way. dally want to be controlled by God like a marionette?  Do you want to have free will or not? Would you give up your right to daily choice for a lemming-like existence? Are you willing to give up making any decisions to become robot-like? I don't think so and that is what would have to happen for all the ills of this world to be stopped.

God Thinking XC - A Season Of Favor 5

"Over the years your freedom has been messed with.

I wish it were that satan and the world system could be blamed for the mess that you got in.  But the truth is, it is not only satan and the world.  Religion has done a terrible injustice to the new born believer.

I'm sure you have felt the pressure from the religious, the legalist, the modern Pharisee as well as the world and even satan himself.

You expected satan to come against you - but your own brothers and sisters in Christ?

More people in Church have been hurt by people in Church than those outside of Church. Let’s stop talking about it and do something about it."

God Thinking XC - A Season Of Favor 4

"Let me ask you a question.  If you have to reach some level of perfection or purity above that which you have today, (your current condition) how much above is the right amount?

How perfected do you have to be?

Do you believe that you will ever be perfected in the flesh to the point where you are worthy in your flesh to boldly go before the throne of God?

Is there any great thing that you can do that will make you more worthy than you are right now to enter into the presence of God?

God is not impressed with your performance, if it is your performance that you bring before God in lieu of your faith, you will be greatly disappointed.

God is not moved by your personal accomplishments, if your accomplishments are what you bring to bridge the gap between God and man, you will be deeply unsettled.

God is not impressed by your ability, if it is by your ability that you stand before God, you will not sense God's favor, you will sense your own bloated ego.

God is not impressed by your words, if it is by your words that you think that God accepts you.

If you expect that there is anything about you, other than (Christ in you) that impresses God, you have been deceived.

You were made free the moment you accepted the voluntary sacrifice of Christ for your sins; nothing else, not even baptism, not speaking in tongues, not being blessed by the Pope or a Rabbi, pastor or Guru. If you have relied on anything to straighten out your relationship with God that befell you because of the sin of Adam other than what Jesus did for you, you have been duped and you have not been freed of anything."

God Thinking XC - A Season Of Favor 3

"Before I read the scripture, let me explain why God wants you to enter into His presence with boldness and assurance.

When you, (as born again believers) enter into the presence of God, your faith in Christ precedes you.
Your name has been written in the book.
You enter in: in, by and through Christ.

No one can enter into the presence of God without faith in the Christ.    In other words if you come to God in your flesh - on your own power - or even by your religion; it is empty, fruitless, a waste of time and to no avail.

The word of God says emphatically in John 14:6.
 6.  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

There is no access code to God except faith in the Christ.  Jesus Christ is your access to God.

It is a very special privilege that God has bestowed upon you as believers - Access to the throne of God as invited guest.  As an invited guest you can enter into the presence of God, by and in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and because of Christ when you enter you are entering in the favor of God.

God Thinking XC - A Season Of Favor 2

"Have you been freed up to serve God without feeling like you are unworthy?

Have you been freed up to serve God without the burden of guilt?

Have you been freed up to go before God, feeling like God makes you feel welcome?

Have you been freed up to the point that you can go to God, with all your past faults and indiscretions and lay them down to enter into His presence?

I know too many people, who because of past disobedience, won’t go to God, because they feel like they are still somewhat unworthy.

Have you been freed up to the point that when you go to God, you go with boldness?

Bold, not arrogant.
Bold, not obnoxious.
Bold, not full of self pride.

God expects you to enter into His presence with boldness.  Because God knows that the only way you can enter into His presence is through Christ, and through Christ you can enter into His presence with boldness in this season of favor.

God Thinking XC - A Season Of Favor 1

Living the Christian Life isn’t supposed to be a burden and a strain.
There’s freedom in Christ
Real freedom
Releasing freedom

Christ has set you free and opened up realms of choices for you to make - of which God the Father then moves on your behalf to fulfill your dreams and desires.

In other words, Christ set you free and when you understand that freedom and operate in it, God the Father goes ahead and makes a way and girds us up from behind to bring to pass what you want in your heart, that you have been made free to accomplish. Call it a season of favor.

Christ set you free so that you would be able to pursue the will of God, that you could not pursue, when you were not free.

Christ set you free to release you from the bondage of separation from God.

You were freed from the drudgery of life without Christ and freed from the bondage of the propensity toward sinful behavior.

You were made free from the heritage of your fallen nature, through Adam.

You were made free from the penalty of death for your rebellion and disobedience against God.

You were made free, not born free, not earned free; made free.

Christ died so that you could come before the throne of God without condemnation or guilt.

Had Christ not died for your sins, there would be a great chasm of separation between God and man.  For the unsaved, that separation is currently in effect - a great chasm is fixed between God and the unsaved man - so great a distance that there is no way, no cure, no hope, no chance of reuniting with God without Christ.

Have you been freed up to serve God?"

God Thinking LXXXIX - Principles Of Power 9

"If you really want to know the will of God.
If you really want to see with prophetic vision.
If you really want to see what God has prepared you for.
If you really want to know what would fulfill your soul.
Just purpose an incontrovertible YES in your heart before you go to God.

Isaiah 26:3
3.  Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Deuteronomy 8:18
18.  But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

1st principle of power: Making a decision to spend time alone with God.

2nd Principle of power: Making a deliberate, firm and irreversible (YES) decision to do what God says prior to going to God in prayer.

There’s more power in restraint than misguided action."

God Thinking LXXXIX - Principles Of Power 8

"If you go to God with and open heart and an open mind, God will use you to accomplish His good pleasure - and sometimes His good pleasure is to intercede for others or to go and do what others have left undone.

Those who are still listening for God to say what they want to hear, have not read the Word, nor do they know the heart of God.

We put too much emphasis on me, myself and I.  We sing to God to take us and mold us but we end the song with 'as long as it is my way.'
Personal fulfillment
Creature comfort security
Financial independence
Material satisfaction
Immediate gratification - take precedence over the call of God.

Too many people are going to God in prayer, primarily for personal fulfillment.  There’s nothing wrong with expecting God to move on your behalf and to bring to pass what you cannot or to infuse His supernatural power in your natural situation, but personal fulfillment is only a part of the whole truth.
  • God does want His people fulfilled.  God has proved that to you more than once.
  • God provides for you and sustains you apart from your own works and abilities.
  • God directs you to go this way and that and leads you to follow Him.
  • God heals your bodies and heals your emotions.
  • God takes away the pangs of the past and gives you hope for the future.
  • God fills you with blessings and makes you to prosper.
  • God wants His people fulfilled, but personal fulfillment without intercession for others and integration with others is shallow and ultimately un-fulfilling.
There is power in "YES LORD."

God Thinking LXXXIX - Principles Of Power 7

  • " If you to God with and open heart and an open mind, God might tell you to rest.
  • If you go to God with and open heart and an open mind, God might tell you to go.
  • If you go to God with and open heart and an open mind, God might tell you to give.
  • If you go to God with and open heart and an open mind, God might tell you to go to the mission field.

Some of us still think of missionaries as a small group of people who had nothing better to do, but give up everything they had to move to a remote area
To teach the unteachable
while earning their own substance
because they really couldn’t get a job anywhere else

Missionaries are simply those who said YES, before God told them what they would be doing.

"One night ma and pa were sitting at the edge of the setee and they knelt down to pray and they made the mistake of praying like this, “Oh God, why is this burden on my heart?  I feel you tugging on me.  What is it you are trying to tell me.  Make it clear and I will obey.”
“Go to Nairobi”
“Go to Sri Lanka”
“Go to Bangledesh”
“Go to Frankfurt Germany”
“Go to Sydney Australia”
And sometimes God calls you to more familiar places, like:
“Stay where you are for five years.  Be faithful and serve in this place.”

People go and needs are met when you go to God with a YES, fixed in your heart and on your lips, but you might not get the answer you think you should."

God Thinking LXXXIX - Principles Of Power 6

"It was never OK, nor will it ever be OK, for you to think that God saves His people so that they can continue to live the way they used to live. God forbid.  I believe that if we were careful to give the gospel, without apology, new believers would seek God’s heart and learn of His ways and make every effort to find God and serve Him.

If we were teaching people that YES is the only appropriate answer to their call from God and that YES is the only appropriate answer to the call to His ways, more people would be believing God with unswerving faith - and we wouldn’t have to drive to Orlando to get healed either.

Here’s the problem.  Most people that go to God to get alone, first make a pack with themselves, that if God directs them in something that they don’t want to do or to a place they don’t want to go, then they will renege.

They don’t’ mind going to God to get alone as long as God comes through and meets their own particular requirements:
  • As long as God answers their prayer the way they want it answered.
  • As long as they aren’t kept too long.
  • As long as God doesn’t put them on the spot.
  • As a matter of fact, for some, as long as God just keeps His
  • place, everything will be alright .
Some people go to God to see what God is going to say, and if God says the right things, they will consider it.

But God is likely to say the wrong thing, if the right thing, is that thing, that you have already made up in your mind about.
If you’ve already made up your mind that:
  • You aren’t going to go to where God says to go.
  • You aren’t going to be what He called you to be.
  • You aren’t going to do what God tells you to do.
  • You aren’t going to say what God told you to say.
  • If you’ve already made up your mind, that what you hear from God, must echo of your own mind........
The only way to hear God clearly is to go to God with an open heart and an open mind and let God place into you, His will."

God Thinking LXXXIX - Principles Of Power 5

"The power of God and the anointed life is for those who have made up their mind that God is who He says He is in the scriptures.
No other kind of faith will do except the:
  • Faith in the Father as revealed in Holy scripture, the Holy Bible.
  • Faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God as revealed in Holy scripture, the Holy Bible.
  • Faith in the Holy Spirit as revealed in Holy scripture, the Holy Bible. (period)
‘Seeker faith’ will not do.
‘Show me first faith’ will not do.
‘I love you Lord, but not enough to do something about my situation faith’ will not do.
  • ‘Sunday faith’ will not do.
  • ‘Extra-biblical faith’ will not do.
  • ‘Your spouses faith’ will not do.
  • ‘If it goes my way faith’ will not do.
  • ‘As long as I can believe what I want to faith’ will not do.
  • ‘As long as You don’t test me faith, will not do.
  • ‘Don’t ask me to give up what is mine faith’ will not do.
  • ‘As long as I can continue in my sin faith, will not do.
  • ‘As long as I can have control faith, will not do.
  • ‘As long as You don’t bother me faith, will not do.
  • ‘As long as You don’t tell me what to do faith, will not do.
Today, even born-again believers and especially young believers are in rebellion to God’s Holy Word.

2 Timothy 3:1-7
1.  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
 2.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
 3.  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
 4.  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
 5.  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
 7.  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

These people will not do it God’s way.  They will not submit to the teachings of the Bible and therefore they cannot receive the Spirit of God.
Where did the body of Christ and our teenage believers hear that when they get saved, they get to keep?
Their old self
Their former inclinations
Their unsaved behaviors and attitudes
Where did the body of Christ hear that when they get saved, they get to keep?
Their old ways and
Their old habits
Who was it that taught that it’s OK to struggle with the same  old habit for twenty-five years?
I hope that you and I never placate our peers, our friends or
our family with a ‘feel good because I don’t want to hurt their
feelings gospel’.

The only reason that most Christians are living below their calling is because they have been taught that it is OK."

Note: Yes you should question what you have been taught and set it against the Bible for confirmation of its authenticity. The Bible is the test, not what someone says the Bible says.  Make your new rule to hear from God before you dispose the matter at hand.

Daily Devotional April 16 - Quit Defending False Religions

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" Timothy 2:5

If you haven't come to grips that Jesus is the only way into a right relationship with God, I pray you will think about it and just give God a chance to explain Himself. God does that in the Bible. God explains the beginning of it all, the pathway from where you were to where you are and where you are headed.

Isn't it sad that so many people are looking frantically in all directions except the one that holds the key to life. Children are indoctrinated into all kinds of religions and cults that steer them away from the one true God and the only mediator between God and man. I'll go along with you, in that, many people are ignorant of the truth and even the existence of Christ. Many simply turn a blind eye to what they see in creation that directs them to believe the intangible based upon the perfection and science of the tangible. But most of all, it is rebellion that has trapped so many from seeing the truth.

Rebellion is well funded by the ego. Millions of men and women, teens and children have heard the call from the Holy Spirit, they have felt the tug on their heart to come to Jesus and they have seen the mighty hand of God at work in this incredible creation, but they can't break away and admit that they have been duped. It is real hard to do, especially if your entire family believes something else.

Some of the major religions of the world don't allow for a person to find themselves, so to speak; they have rules about Jesus, strict rules forbidding them to even contemplate the name; they have hidden all the literature that might inspire someone to come to a knowledge of the truth and they spend countless hours making it miserable for anyone who even begins to think for themselves. Next time you are thinking about defending those who believe in false religions, think about what they are doing:
Denying God His place in their lives
Denying their own people the right to think freely and come to a decision on their own
Purposely making it difficult to even consider another way
Hiding literature and documents that could inspire
Lying about Christians and what they stand for
Instilling fear into the hearts of the people
Training their people to hate
Treating women with disdain
Plotting the destruction of others unlike themselves
In some cases putting them in jail or even killing them
Terrorizing everyone, even their own people, to build an alliance of fear
Does that sound like something to tout about?

Christianity is the only religion with a living Savior, Jesus the Christ. Jesus is the Savior to all men and women, teens and children, of every race, every nation, every religion. Remember what Apostle John said, "He came unto His own, and His own received Him not." Just because they don't receive Him doesn't mean that He has not revealed Himself and invited them. Quit defending false religions. When you do so you are actually muddying the water.

God Thinking LXXXIX - Principles Of Power 4

"The power of God doesn’t stop and land on someone, as if, they could then, wield the power of God, at their own discretion.  The power of God flows through a yielded man or woman to produce God results at God’s discretion.

God is fed up with the modern prophets and so-called Apostles, some pastors and teachers who are puffed up with pride and self elevation and make a mockery of God’s Holy and incorruptible power.

Galatians 6:3
 3.  For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

Romans 12:3
3.  For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think;

Those who are still trying out God to see if they really have any interest in continuing with God are not awarded the power of God.

Those in whom God works His mighty power through:
They have stopped testing God.
They are done fighting God.
They have submitted to His will.

It’s not that God does not work through others.  God works through the ungodly and the unaware.  The difference is, that those who adore the Lord - those who are yielded and submitted - they know when God is working in them and through them."

God Thinking LXXXIX - Principles Of Power 3

"What moves God is an act of compassion
A gift to the poor
A word for the lonely
A song for the weary
What moves God is a heart of worship.
Someone willing to bow the knee.
Submission to His wooing.
Recognition of our powerlessness apart from Him.
A yielded vessel.

The power of God is given to those who have stepped aside and lifted up the name of Jesus above their own.  You can tell when a man or a woman is full of their self or yielded to God.  The power of God is through the yielded and never wielded.

Those who are still full of themselves may have charisma and charm, authority, position and sometimes fame.  They may be educated and informed.  But the power of God is manifested in weakness and humility.

Isaiah 40:29-31
29.  He giveth power to the faint;
God pressed on me to search this word out, faint, because I always thought it meant the weak-willed, the helpless, those who were despondent and without, but I found out differently.

The word faint as used here comes from the Hebrew word, (yaw-afe’) which means fatigued or utterly exhausted.  The faint are not the despondent or weak-willed, but those who are utterly exhausted from their labors.

29.  He giveth power to the (those who are utterly exhausted from their labors) faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
 30.  Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
 31.  But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

The power of God is given to the laborers of God to perform the will of God."

God Thinking LXXXIX - Principles Of Power 2

"What moves God is a praise of His glory.

What moves God is a right view of His Son.

What moves God is a follower of the leading of the Holy Spirit.

What moves God is a prayer of thankfulness, thanking God with real zest for life.
Thankful for who God is.
Thankful for His revelation
Thankful for what you have

If you spent as much time thanking God for what you have, as you do complaining to God about what you do not have, you would have what you don’t have.

God Thinking LXXXIX - Principles Of Power 1

"Principles of power:

1st principle of power: Making a decision to spend time alone with God.

2nd Principle of power: Making a deliberate, firm and irreversible (YES) decision to do what God says prior to  going to God in prayer.

If you really want power in your life, you will have to do it God’s way.

God does not issue His power to those whom He knows will throw it away, not His power

There is other power available and some of it looks good, but God’s power is easily recognized:

God’s power doesn’t require a certain setting, like when all the cameras are on or when the right people are present.

God’s power is not performed by slight of hand.  God works through yielded vessels, not self-proclaimed spiritual iconoclasts.

God’s power does not require confirmation from the general assembly.

God gives His power and His gifts severally as He wills, not as ‘we wills’.

The power of God cannot be arranged to be captured on film at 9:00 p.m. EST.

God’s power proceeds forth from God at His will, on His timing, and the only thing that moves God is a yielded vessel with a YES on their tongue - YES I will - YES I can - YES, Lord, YES."

God Thinking LXXXVIII - The Presence Of The LORD 11

"God doesn’t reveal you to hurt you, but to show you what you look like, in Christ.

God doesn’t reveal you to destroy you, but to create in you a (new creature) vision.

God doesn’t reveal you to disarm you, but to authorize you.

God doesn’t reveal you to embarrass you, but to enable you.

God doesn’t reveal you to deflate you, but to empower you.

God doesn’t reveal you to deter you, but to compel you.

God doesn’t reveal you to stop you, but to commission you.

God reveals you to refine you.

Alone with God you learn to quiet your spirit and listen to the Holy Spirit

The 1st reason that God reveals Himself to you, is so that you will get to know Him.

The 2nd reason that God reveals Himself to you is so that you will get to know your self.

The first principle of power is:
Making a decision to spend time alone with God.

And by getting to know God and getting to know your identity in Christ all power and spiritual blessings are opened up to you.

2 Timothy 1:7
 7.  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

God Thinking notes:

Stretching your faith to include believing everything that God has said.

Making a deliberate, firm and irreversible decision about your relationship with God, upon hearing or reading the Word of God, as moved by the unction of the Holy Spirit.

Speaking into your circumstances and situations words of promise (God’s promises).

Responding in a time sensitive response to a call from God.

Someone is dealing with something that needs immediate attention.  God is standing at the door of your heart awaiting a yes answer to the question that God asked of you last week.

There is peace in making a decision. Are you ready to go into the presence of God? Now is the acceptable time."
