God thinking LII - Fruitless 3

"God is convinced that His way of providing for the atonement of every human being is, not only fair, but disproportionately fair to each and every living soul. Romans  5:11

God is pleased with the way He has presented to us the written Word to inspire us and give us insight and fill us with wisdom and empower us to be like Him.  Colossians 3:16

God is pleased that He developed a plan of salvation that would take a man or a woman, teen or a child, and from the moment of conception, begin molding them into a unique and precious person that would someday, by faith, come to know and understand, love and adore God, their creator, their heavenly Father.  Isaiah 44:2

God wants you to be inspired.
God wants you to be filled with His blessings.
God wants you to have insight.
God wants you to be delivered, overcomers, wise, prudent, empowered and strengthened.
God wants you to have joy and peace, happiness and fulfillment.
God wants your desires to be satisfied.
God wants your dreams and aspirations to be fulfilled.
God wants you to be content and comforted.

Every Word that God speaks to you confirms these timeless truths.

Note: It is my humble opinion that too many Christians have a low opinion of what God thinks of them and what God is doing for them.  It is my hope that I can shed some light on this issue so that people can live their lives to the fullest.

God Thinking LII - Fruitless 2

"The thought that God enlightens you, fills you and empowers you in the inner man, so that you can continue to sow for the outer man is appalling, and not biblical.

The entire premise of God thinking is that you might gain insight from God that you can utilize in your daily life, insight that transforms your way of living so that it is pleasing to God - and so that you will have the wisdom and ability to assist others in transforming their lives and their way of living so that it is pleasing to God.

This transformation, (in your mind to have the mind of Christ), however gradual or instantaneous, must be followed by fruit, (worth picking) in your life.  John 15:4

God is pleased with His creation.  Genesis 1:31

God is pleased that He has developed the perfect and (unquestionably the easiest way) for every man woman and child to have and enjoy eternal security.  John 3:16

God is thoroughly satisfied that His Word is sufficient to meet the need of every human soul, from the lowliest and poorest to the highly developed genius and the richest."  2 Corinthians 3:5

God Thinking LII - Fruitless 1

"God thinking demands that you gain insight into the mind of God, via inspiration - And then move forward with that inspiration and act upon the insight you received from that inspiration.

God thinking was never and is never about you gaining knowledge and then idly expecting that the knowledge and wisdom that you have gained, will, in and of itself, attain you to anything.  This happened to the Greeks in pre-Christ days.  They became so full of knowledge that they began to think they were something that they were not.  They began to think that they were Gods - thus, Greek mythology.

It happened in Rome, Constantinople, China, Mexico and Tibet.  Whole nations fell into satan’s snare.

Elevated thinking without the inspiration of the Holy Spirit is fruitless, selfish, frivolous and temporal.

The implied meaning of God thinking is: that, as you are inspired and motivated (by what God has said) or (by what God is doing in your life), you then respond to that knowledge, wisdom, inspiration or motivation to accomplish the will of God that was revealed to you by God in or through the inspiration or motivation.

The thought that God thinking might somehow be interpreted to mean (self-elevation) derived from information that is exclusive to you - so that your inner man can be nourished and filled while the outer man is still wallowing in worldly pursuits  is foolishness."

God Thinking LI - Mining The Mind Of God 9

"More time alone with your heavenly Father is exactly what you need so that you can experience the rest and the peace that God freely provides.

God thinks highly of His rest and His peace, so He made it simple for you to have it.

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee; because he trusteth in Thee.”  Isaiah 26:3

Hear what God has to say about it.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace.  In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”  Phillipians 4:6-7

“Now the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always by all means.  The Lord be with you all.”  2 Thessalonians 3:16

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”                                    John14:27
“28.  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
 29.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
 30.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”  Mathew 11:28-30

Are these truths true in you?

God Thinking LI - Mining The Mind Of God 8

"If you are thinking, “God knows my heart”, you are right, and if that is your excuse for not staying or following through, God is disappointed.

The fact that God knows the thoughts and intents of the heart only means that God knows if what you do outwardly was motivated by your relationship with God to serve God and bring glory to God or to serve self and bring glory to self.

Good intentions without following through and fulfilling the will of God , bears no fruit.

See, the truth is, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee;”

The Word doesn’t say: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is torn between two worlds.

The Word doesn’t say: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is wandering about unsure of whether to trust God or not.

The Word doesn’t say: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is aloof and easily distracted.

The Word doesn’t say: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is not considering God’s role in their life.

The Word doesn’t say: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is totally caught up in worldly pursuits.

The Word doesn’t say: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is controlled by the surrounding circumstances.

No, the word says: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee;”

I am not sharing this truth to make you feel guilty or discouraged, (for not spending enough quality or quantity time with God.)  I am sharing this truth to help you stay focused and encourage us to develop a plan to have more quality and quantity time, (for your mind) to be stayed on God.

If you have been fishing and haven’t caught any fish, it shouldn’t be discouraged when someone comes over to you and says; “I’m catching fish, bring your pole over here.”

That’s all I’m doing here.  I’m catching fish (receiving the truths of God for me) and I am inviting you to come and fish where I am catching fish (In the Word of God and through listening to the voice of God).

I am inviting each one of you to a richer and deeper walk with God, by letting the truths of God permeate your soul and become true in you.

God Thinking LI - Mining The Mind Of God 7

"“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee;” The key to having this peace that God is talking about in this verse, is the phrase, “is stayed on Thee:”

“Is stayed” is present tense, and it is present tense that God discloses in this verse.  Stayed is from the Hebrew word, (caman, (saw-mak), which means; Established in, to lean upon, rest self in, set self in, stand fast in.

The truth found in this scripture is true to you, (in you and through you) every moment you abide or operate in its precepts.

I want you to stay right here on this subject until you get the revelation of just how important this principle is.

Have you ever tried to pray, but the distractions and noises, and duties, the phone ringing, the animals and many other things keep you from finishing what you started to do.

Your intention may have been good, but your ability to follow through was just too obstacle laden to complete.

Let me ask you: Just think about this for a moment.

You were going to pray, but you didn’t.  Were the prayers you were going to pray, but didn’t, answered?

If you meant to call someone and forgive them for something that have done, but you never call, are they forgiven by you?

If you have considered buying a pair of Redwing shoes and you really want them, but you never go and buy them - Are they your shoes simply because you intended to buy them?

You found a beautiful home you want to buy.  You look at it.  You make arrangement with the bank for a loan.  You meet the seller and come to an agreed price. You have the down payment, but, for whatever reason - even though everything is in order - every detail taken care of - you don’t give the seller a down-payment; Is the house yours, because you intended to buy it?  No

When is the house yours?  After you buy it.

You’ve been meaning to play games with your kids or visit your family and you tell them so, regularly.  You even want to, but you never do.  As the years go by, what fruit did the (intention to do), (that you never did), bear?

The truth in all this is: If you want the peace of God, your mind will have to be stayed on Him.

The truth is: If you want your prayers answered, you are going to have to pray.

The truth is: If you don’t make the call and forgive that someone in your life - they will not receive the blessing of forgiveness, just because you almost called them.

The truth is: If you don’t buy the Redwing shoes, you are not going to wear them.

The truth is: If you don’t put that down payment on the house and follow through, someone else is going to, move into your intention."

God Thinking LI - Mining The Mind Of God 6

"The truth of God is true, but you cannot operate in that truth, until it is true to you.

Hear the Word of the LORD:
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee; because he trusteth in Thee.”  Isaiah 26:3

This truth from God is always true, but there is a great chasm between what God speaks that is true and what God speaks that is true in your life.

Listen carefully to this example:

Is it true that Jesus is the Savior?   YES

Is there anything that could possibly change that from being true?  No

Is Jesus the Savior in the mind of those who deny Him?  No

If Jesus is the Savior, why is He not the Savior in those who do not believe in Him?

Because even though it is true that Jesus is the Savior, He is not the Savior in their mind and in their heart.  Heart and mind being synonymous in this respect.

Let’s look at Isaiah 26:3 again:
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee; because he trusteth in Thee.”  Isaiah 26:3

It will always be true that God will “keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on (God).  But your mind is not always stayed on Him, so you are not always in perfect peace.

Or, to put it a little differently, (for perspective), you don’t have perfect peace when your mind is not stayed on Him.

God Thinking LI - Mining The Mind Of God 5

"God wants you to think in a way that brings joy to your life and glory to God.  God knows what it is that makes that happen and He supplies you with what you need to bring it about.

God Thinking is all about how you think and what you think about.  It matters, because much, if not all, of your spiritual battles are fought in the mind.

We are going to learn something significant about the nature of truth in this message.

The outcome of your life - or the fruit of your life is in direct relation to the truths from God that are yours.

God spoke His truth and is speaking His truth to you.  God has already verbalized all that is necessary for you to have and enjoy all of God’s creation and to have and enjoy a personal relationship with God, through Christ.

God did this through the written Word.  God has already spoken through His prophets and to His people.

Every truth from God stays constantly true.  Whether you of anyone else believes what God has said, what God has said is always true.  But whether you believe what God says or not determines whether what God says is true - for you or not.

God Thinking LI - Mining The Mind Of God 4

"God knows that only through communion with God in prayer:
Can we glorify God, because God provides, (in the mind) what we cannot obtain on our own.

The bible talks to us allot about the mind and its role in how God communicates with us.

Have you ever tried to think about something important, and idea or just a passing thought, but you couldn’t get it to come together and materialize, so it just dissipated into fragments?

Or, you are trying to concentrate and pray or just be alone with God, and thoughts are just racing through your head or the distractions start getting louder and louder and your ability to concentrate, again dissipates and your precious time is lessened or becomes fruitless altogether?

I believe that many of us are kept from our mission - purpose - calling - because we cannot or do not take time to fully develop our thoughts, especially when it comes to praying to or talking to God and having the time or the silence, the undivided attention it takes to hear the voice of God.

The results of not thinking the way that God wants us to is devastating, as to our overall existence.  And the one who suffers the most is our inner man.

There is no peace and no rest when our inner man is confused of operating with wrong thinking.

God thinking LI - Mining God's Mind 3

"The Word of God gives you insight into the mind of God.  Listen carefully to what God has to say about it.
“5.  Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
 6.  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
 7.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:5-7

Be careful for nothing simply means: There is nothing that you should carry the burden of, alone.  There is nothing that you can bring to God that will surprise Him.

God knows that only through communion with God in prayer, i. e., (your mind and the mind of Christ uniting in will and purpose):

Can you find solace and fulfillment in the pursuit of what ever it is - Sure you can find pleasure, but for lasting and meaningful satisfaction, you had better bring God in on it.

God knows that only through communion with God in prayer:

(Operating in a way that you allow your mind to be apprehended by God so that He can fill you with His will).

You can accomplish the tasks at hand with integrity, if you know that you have agreement with God and that you have God's blessing to proceed forward (or go to) (or plan to do this or that) or whatever the task at hand is for the day.

I’ll tell you a truth you already know.  You make far too many decisions without consulting the Father in heaven.

God thinking LI - Mining God's Mind 2

"You cannot operate in or under its authority (what God speaks into you) until it is yours, and it becomes yours by believing it and receiving it, by faith.

Paul caught this vision from God when He was writing to the Romans.  Paul wrote:
“5.  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
 6.  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
 7.  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”  Romans 8:5-7

We need a generation of men and women that will believe what God says.

There is carnally minded and there is spiritually minded, and there is a war going on in the mind between these two poles.  Spiritually minded is seeking life and everything associated with being a child of the living God.  Carnally minded, is seeking life and everything associated with satisfying your base desires, without including God in the equation.

God is interested in your mind and what you think, and that is evident in the way that God created you.  Think about it, the written Word was developed for use by your mind and it is your mind that activates the truths within the Word of God.

God thinking LI - Mining God's Mind 1

"The mind is a terrible thing to waste.  And we need not waste ours.

God desires that we have a sound mind.

God doesn’t tell us to do something or to be something and then leave us alone to try and ascend to it.

What God does, is tell us how to do something or how to be something and then shows us through example and confirms it by His own Word.

God doesn’t expect that you will have a naturally tendency to use your mind for the glory of God.  God knows that your natural tendency is of a lessor sort.  So when God speaks to you through His Word, not only does He speak to you, but God speaks into you, if you receive it.

As you seek after God’s will, (your mind being influenced by the mind of God), when God speaks into you, what God speaks into you becomes part of who you are.  God speaks into your mind the things of God and then you seek after and thrive on the things of God more than ever.

Your natural or carnal mind changes into a spiritual mind every time you hear and abide in the Word of God.  When God speaks into you, His Word is performed in you and through you, when it becomes true for you.

When God speaks to you, what God has said is not yet yours.  You cannot operate in or under (what God speaks into you) with authority until it is yours, and it becomes yours by believing it and receiving it, by faith."

God Thinking L - One Word 10

"Whatever befalls us, that stretches our faith, we need to hold tight, knowing that God’s grace is sufficient for even the most difficult of times.

Whatever comes our way, we need to rest assured that God’s grace already contains the solution.

When it looks real dark and there’s just no hope, we need to bring to the very top of our mind, “God’s grace is sufficient.”

When it looks like you just can’t overcome the desire for something, when your sure you just can’t handle it, just call on the grace of God, reach out and let God pour out more grace to you, more than you deserve.

God’s grace can overcome anything, any habit, any time, any place, anywhere.

Here’s another poem that attempts to unveil just a little of God’s grace.

Even when I make mistakes and fail to do my best
I sense that God is urging me, to come to Him and rest
Even when I know that I lost the battle at hand
I sense that God has won the war and the battle was in His plan
Even when I cannot see the forest for the trees
I sense that God has gone before and I’m right where I should be
Even when the times are hard and there’s no rest at all
I sense that God has gone before me, so that I won’t fall
Even when I’ve let God down and knew what I had done
I sense that God looks right at me and sees His only Son
Even the fiercest enemy has no rightful place
Wherever there is present, just a little of God’s grace.
God’s grace has already done what I could never do
And that is give my only Son for the likes of me and you

Say this prayer with me if you agree:

Jesus, You have truly shown me what true spirituality is all about.
You have shed new light on my heart.
and given me something to ponder in my mind
It is far above the thoughts of man.
But I accept, the mind of Christ, by Your grace.
May my adoration for Your ways increase day by day.
Thank you for Your grace.
Amen.

Grace be unto you my friends.

God Thinking L - One Word 9

"Grace is the unmerited gift of God - the fullness of God’s blessing - bestowed upon the recipient, (you and I) without measure.
  • We can thank God for our health
  • We can thank God for our healing
  • We can thank God for the gifts of the Spirit
  • We can thank God for our abilities
  • We can thank God for our heritage
  • We can thank God for our love
for friendships, for family, for our jobs, for our houses, for our income, for our church and for every blessing we have ever received and will ever receive:
But someday you and I are going to grow old and we are going to meet our Maker and when we stand before Almighty God, in His splendor and in His glory
  • It won’t be what great things we’ve done that move us
  • It won’t be what denomination we belonged to that moves us
  • It won’t be our ability to heal or prophesy or speak in tongues that makes us worthy to look into the eyes of God
  • It won’t be anything, that we ever did, of our own accord, that allows us entrance behind the veil.
  • It will be God’s grace and His grace alone, that we acknowledge as the only reason we can even come before God.

Knowing how wonderful God’s grace is; does it make you  thirst for some more of God’s grace?  Because if we can grow in grace, there’s more.

Does it put a little light on your current problem to know that God has already poured Himself out on you and that is why you have breath and live?

Does it kindle the fire in you to continue on and finish what you started, knowing that you are saturated in God’s grace?

Does it strip a bit of the worry from your situation, to know that God has already gone before you and breathed His grace into it?

Does it lighten the load a little to know that you might be carrying a heavy load, but God is carrying you?

Does it motivate you to sellout to God, simply because God has already given you His very best?

Does it give you confidence to know that “God’s grace is sufficient?”  He says it is and I believe Him.

Whatever is on the horizon for you and I, tomorrow and beyond, we need to learn to face it, in the light of God’s grace."

God Thinking L - One Word 8

"Paul put it this way, “Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift.” 2 Corinthians 9:15
The gift Paul was talking about was the gift of God, grace.

Paul, of all men, even after years of service to God, after years of intense devotion - An Apostle to the Gentiles - An Hebrew of Hebrews - A man acquainted with the supernatural - One who could speak life into a dead body - One who could take the deadly snake bite and just shake it off - One who could touch a handkerchief or an apron of someone and they would be healed and devils would run - This same Paul had a thorn in the flesh and needed to be reminded, “My grace is sufficient for thee:...” 2 Corinthians 12:9a

Sometimes we have a thorn in the flesh and we need to be reminded, “My grace is sufficient for thee:...”

I know now, why Paul starts out, not one of his epistles, but all of his epistles with this salutation:
“Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, (or Thessalonica or Galatia or Collose) and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
V2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.”  Ephesians 1:1-2

Each epistle begins a little differently and addresses believers in different regions, but in every epistle, after addressing those in whom he was speaking to, there was one word that Paul used - the first blessing in a succession of blessings that Paul spoke, without exception, was - “GRACE BE UNTO YOU”.

There is no greater blessing to bestow on anyone than grace.

Peter ends his 2nd epistle with these words, “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  To Him be glory both now and forever.  Amen.”  2 Peter 3:18

This sounds like God-thinking to me.  Grow in grace?

Grow in the richest soil there is?

To grow in the gift of God?

To grow (you mean, you can have more of what already is given without measure)? Yes

To grow in the gift of gifts from God, the gift that is already beyond explanation?

The gift that already supplies all our needs?

The gift that already mends all our wounds?

The gift that already heals our diseases?

The gift that already goes before us and prepares a path?

Can you really grow in something that is already complete?

Do you sense with me the awesomeness and depth of what grace is?
