"You need the right perspective in times like these. A right perspective will keep you from
losing your footing when things go awry. Will things go awry on occasion?
A false perspective or a warped perspective will alter the truth
and the realty you live in. See, God
wants you to believe that things are the way He say’s they are, not the way
Peter Jennings or Hollywood or your unbelieving friends and family or the media
say’s they are, but God wants you to believe that things are the way God say’s
they are.
To see the good in things you have to have God’s perspective. In a sense we could call it God’s foresight -
God’s foreknowledge, but for us I’m going to call it: a pro-active
perspective.
A pro-active perspective will help you see more clearly when
troubles come: or when there’s not enough money
at the end of the month or when you are being treated
unfairly or when something unfortunate
happens or when you are facing something
dread or when you are lonely or
discouraged or depressed."
