Do you
want to go there?
1 You will have to be prepared to be changed.
2 You will have to abandon your pre-conceived idea of what you will receive from God.
3 You will have to accept what God gives to you.
4 You will have to accept what God tells you when you are there.
Note: Being in the presence of God is always beneficial, but not always pleasant. Don't expect everything to go your way or that every answer that you will get will be, 'yes my son, as you wish.' God is not a genie in a bottle and you are a creation in desperate need of being perfected and only God can do that. If your expectations are to go to God and set the record straight as to who is really in charge in your life, you will be greatly disappointed. What God tells you, if you have an open mind and heart, might break your heart. If you cannot face the truth about yourself, don't commune with God.
1 You will have to be prepared to be changed.
Some
people think they are communing with God; but there is no evidence that they
are being changed. They think they have
been in the inner chamber, the Holy of Holies, but when they come out there’s
no Shekinah glory, no brokenness, no proof written across their face. No evidence of having been with God; no word
from God, no direction, no promise, no power.
My God,
if you are not changed - you haven’t been there."
