God Thinking XIII - Break Away 7

"If you have a husband or a wife, a father or mother, a son or daughter, that keep you from your spiritual best, break away (not from them as a person), but break away from their declining spiritual condition.  When you stand before God, only Christ will be there with you, not husband, wife, father, mother, son or daughter.  Draw nigh unto God, get alone with Him and He will give you peace.

God will enhance your relationship with your husband, wife, father, mother, son or daughter if you will break away and let God fill you up.

  

Let God have you.

You must be careful not to allow your experience with God to be less than it can be because you are trying to appease others.

It’s time to let God have His way with you.  Others have had their way long enough."

Note: Most people would agree that they are living their life in perpetual motion and much of it without the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.  It is really not enough to just go to church on Sunday or whatever day, whine about the pastor, complain about how long the service was and say a few niceties to your acquaintances.
