V18
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching
thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
My God,
this is a call to you.
This is a
call for men and women of faith.
This is
for those who want more of God and less of everything else, more than
blessings, more than prosperity, more than deliverance, more than healing, more
than anything.
This is
for those who want to be locked in a prayer closet with God.
God has
the key, but you can get out any time you want to, but you don’t want to.
God hears
your every word and God speaks a Word to you.
You go in with questions and complaints and you come out with answers
and a gift.
No one leaves
the presence of God without a word and a gift.
After you have been in this place.
You always want to go back again.
God
purifies your everyday experience.
You think
about the holiness of God.
You ponder
high and lofty thoughts and contemplate your next encounter with the
Almighty?
You lose your desire for the empty promises of this world?
God’s
grace becomes sufficient for you.
You come
away with something you didn’t go there with?
You get
the answers we are looking for.
1 Timothy
2:1
“I exhort
therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and
giving of thanks, be made for all men:”
