This is
how religious philosophy/theology is handled.
Profound truths are revealed as they are discovered or unveiled. And that revelation is passed on from
generation to generation.
Psalm 145:3-4
“Great is
the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable.
V4 One
generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty
works.”
God bless
those who endeavor to pass the baton with power, authority and integrity.
As each
generation comes along, they/we must weed through what the previous generation
discovered and gleam the gold and silver off the top and put it “on top” in our
mind, and push down and away all that is dross, (the impurities).
Each
generation of men and women accumulate rules, ordinances & precepts that
fit their needs, times, circumstances & culture. They sometimes move away from the original
intent that God designed. When this
happens, religion is borne.
It is
this constant cycle that each of us is faced with that we must overcome.
Can you transcend the cycle that births complacency in your worship and endorses
ignorance through vain repetition?
