Do you
think that just maybe Jesus is talking to you?
When it seems like everything is
running at full speed, everyone I talk
to doesn’t have time to talk.
There’s
not enough time.
There’s not enough money.
There’s not enough help around the house.
Everybody is too busy.
Is it that
time of year that you hustle it all together so that somehow - you can sit back and rest and enjoy the reason for the year.
That is not
God’s best for you. Pushing
everyday to the max - to try and do in 20 days - what should take 40 days is
not God’s plan.
But God
understands.
God is not
mad at you for going shopping.
God is not
mad at you for trying to do too much.
God is not
angry at you for buying things.
God is not
angry with you for shopping and planning and partying.
As a matter
of fact, God is not angry with you at all.
God knows
you want everything to be just right.
God knows
how much your kids mean to you.
God knows
you want your house to look its best.
God knows
you are going to try to do more than you possibly can.
God knew,
long before today, how busy you would be this year.
But you need to understand and believe in
your heart that God is not angry at you."
