God Thinking XII - Are You Faithful Or Just Religious? 6

"God makes it clear in His Word that He gives you faith according to your faithfulness.

What does this mean?

It means that a lot of people want to see the results of supernatural faith, without providing a faithful vessel for the supernatural faith to be placed in: Moreover, false teaching and poor teaching have allowed many to think of God as a magical genie kind of God.  There is a group that think God just flippantly performs great feats upon command.

God is looking for men, women, teens, youth and children that seek His face.  Those who are not satisfied until they hear the voice of God; Those who will not let up until God reveals Himself and then they will not let up because God revealed Himself.

God is looking for the faithful, those who are not seeking loopholes in God’s plan, but those who believe it.

Many are called, but few are chosen.

Many Christians today believe that knowledge of salvation is the same as experiencing salvation.
Many believe that knowledge of being filled with the Spirit is the same as being filled with the Spirit.
Many believe that knowledge of the righteousness of Christ is the same as experience of the righteousness of Christ.
The faithful seek out ways to be in His presence, not ways to escape His presence."
