Secondly, the only
way anyone can come to God is by His Son, and if you do not understand the
importance and the urgency of this truth, you will make no real effective effort
to reveal God to others [in you and through you].
Because of the
lukewarm condition of the body of Christ and the depravity of the world system,
(secular society), many people end up in church, (a church) (a fellowship)
finding their experience to be quite fulfilling. They are enjoying the benefits of
Christianity, by participation and association, but some have never been converted.
Hear what God has to
say about it:
Psalm 19:7 “The law
of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul.”
Matthew 18:1-3
“At the same time
came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of
heaven?
V2 And Jesus called a
little child unto Him, and set Him in the midst of them,
V3 And said, Verily I
say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye
shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
Luke 22:31-32
“And the Lord
said,”Simon, Simon, behold, satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift
you as wheat:
V32 But I have prayed
for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy
brethren.”
If you have any
difficulty with understanding why the church (the body of Christ) seems so
mixed up, just try to visualize this picture.
In many cases, the unsaved are teaching the unsaved how to get saved. It doesn’t work. The unsaved bring people into the church to
play church without ever pointing them to reconcile with a holy God.
Everything to do with
God and man, God and you, God and me, is wrapped up in a personal relationship
with God.
God is calling His
people to reveal to the lost their need for a Savior.
The church is growing
much faster than the body of Christ, because the church has all but stopped
exposing the depravity of man without Christ.
It’s not in vogue to talk about the lost as if they were really
lost. If not for God’s
intervention.............. The gospel of Jesus Christ would be diluted until it
had no power at all. “For the preaching
of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it
is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians
1:18
