But, behind the
seemingly godless world system, there is a cunning and wicked power that has
spent six-thousand years developing a plan to make it look like there is no
God, by blinding the (spiritual) eyes of those who do not believe, and muddying
the water for those who do.
In 2 Corinthians
4:3-4 the Word says:
“But if our gospel be
hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
V4 In whom the god
of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest
the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should
shine unto them.”
I said all that to
say this; satan knows that he cannot rob
you of your salvation, so he has devised a world system to rob you of:
Your
security - your joy - your hope - your innocence - your peace.
In each generation,
whatever dream of peace, hope of prosperity and desire for tranquility that the
believer sees in His or her life as an outcome or benefit of knowing God, it is
tampered with, and falsely imitated by an enemy that has thousands of years of
experience in deceiving people.
God knew from the
beginning what you would be up against.
And God prepares His people, through the Word, so that even in a time of uncertainty, even with the
tremendous uphill battle to fight for:
-
Peace in the household
- Joy at work
- Hope for the future
- Financial security and
- Personal fulfillment
God makes a way where
there is no way.
The word says, God’s
plan includes:
-
Peace in the household - Joy at work
- Hope for the future
- Financial security
- Personal fulfillment and so much more that you cannot even fathom the richness of His mercy and grace toward you, who must be in the world, even though you are not of the world.
God’s plan includes:
Peace
in your soul and peace in the household “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you, Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27
Joy at work
“But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.” Galatians 6:4
Hope
for the future
“Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant
mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the
resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
V4
to and inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away,
reserved in heaven for you,
V5
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be
revealed in the last time.” 1 Peter 1:35
“Beloved,
I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy
soul prospereth.” 3
John 2
Personal fulfillment
“Trust
in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou
shalt be fed.
V4
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of
thine heart.
V5
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to
pass.” Psalm 37:3-5
Just because you are
in the world, you should be careful not to buy into the rhetoric of the world
that says you cannot have peace and joy and hope, financial security and
personal fulfillment."
Note: There are two modes of thinking that are erroneous concerning the issue of financial security and prosperity:
1. That if you attain success and have things that you must have attained it without the aid of God - That is foolishness.
2. That only those who attain some level of financial success are following God's plan for their life - Also foolishness.
Those who promotes poverty through ignorance and those who promote prosperity through some give-me and God-will-bless-you ministry are both preying on you. Find your balance of life through prayer and guidance of the Holy Spirit, not from the foolish teachings of those with a personal agenda.
