God thinking XLIII - Inspired Tools 2

"Not everything that God points out to you makes you feel good, but everything that God speaks to you is for your good.

If God gives you an unction from the Holy Spirit - an urging inside you to do something - something small or something great - but inspired by God - do it.   Write it down and move on it.  By faith it will come to pass.

Is there a desire in your heart to move into that next place

with God?  A place that requires faith.

Some of you are living without activating your faith.  It's like having a beautiful new car with all the bells and whistles and never getting in and turning it on.

Faith demands from the saved, an active relationship with Jesus Christ; One that hears from the Lord, from God’s Word, and one that responds to God’s Word.

So many Christians today are resigned, (not content, which is biblical), but resigned to live faithless (and the result is to receive less), of what God freely and abundantly supplies to His children, not only by adoption, (heirs of the kingdom), but by covenant.

Many Christians believe in or have been taught that being without (or not receiving what God has promised) is spiritual (even though God has provided more than enough for everyone to possess).  So they make no effort to climb up from where they are to that next place - they make no effort to increase their faith -  they make no effort to fight the good fight of faith.

Their faith is not the kind that takes them from one glory to another.
  • It’s the kind that doesn’t even believe in miracles anymore.
  • It’s the kind that’s lost it’s savor.
  • It’s the impotent kind that is resigned to a life ordered by the events of the world and the consequences of the day.
  • It’s the kind of faith that doesn’t even believe they are renewed day by day, (as God promises).
  • It’s the kind of faith that’s either putting out fires or frantically just getting through the day.
That is not faith and that is not victory.  Christ did not die so that you could be pushed to and fro by the circumstances of life, living out day by day without a clue of what God has designed for you.

God wants you to increase your faith simply to believe what God says, so that God can work His will in you and through you, by the indwelling Holy Spirit - (Now hear this carefully) at His bidding.  We are to be ready to do God’s bidding, not the other way around, where God does our bidding.  When you see this the Word comes alive."
