“5. Let your moderation be known unto all men.
The Lord is at hand. 6. Be
careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto
God. 7. And
the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds
through Christ Jesus.” Phillipians
4:5-7
Be
careful for nothing simply means: There is nothing that you should carry the
burden of, alone. There is
nothing that you can bring to God that will surprise Him.
God knows
that only through communion with God in prayer, i. e., (your mind
and the mind of Christ uniting in will and purpose):
Can you find solace and fulfillment in the pursuit of whatever it is? - Sure you can find pleasure, but for lasting and meaningful satisfaction, you had better bring God in on it."
