God Thinking XXXV - Prayer Environment 5

"2. You must ask in faith

You need faith and there is only one way to get it.  Jesus Christ imparts faith; that's right, Jesus gives you faith.  There is no other way to receive faith; no religious exercise, no timed prayer, no looking in a certain direction, no hearing from a pastor, priest or rabbi, no ritual, no belief system, nothing can get you faith except it is imparted unto you by Jesus Christ.

When you place your trust in Jesus Christ, Jesus places faith within you.  The more you entrust yourself to Jesus the more faith He imparts unto you.

If you place all of your faith in Jesus, Jesus gives you faith in all things, all events, and all circumstances.  He fills you with faith.
God alone can fulfill the desires of the heart and God can fulfill the desires of your heart if you diligently seek Him.

Even if you have nothing, (materially), you can have comfort, strength and power, the same as if you had all things, (materially), if you have faith.

As you grow in faith, your prayer life will grow as well.

As your prayer life grows so too will your faith grow.

Once you grow to the point where you maintain your relationship with Jesus, you can do mighty things, not works of greatness of your own, but through submission to the  work and greatness of God working in you and through you.

We must ask in faith.
