God Thinking LXXIII - The Construction Connection 5

"Why are Christians giving credit to other religious systems.
The bible says, “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Now here is where I really want to go.  This is the part of this message that you must see and understand if you are to take back some lost territory.

Now back to 2 Corinthians 6:12-13
12.  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13.  Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

Not everything that you build on this foundation is gold, silver or precious stones.  Sometimes you build with wood, hay and stubble.

Here is some revelation.  You don’t have to build the house to find out what it is to be build of. You can find out before you even get started.

Just take whatever it is that you are about to do and lay it before the Lord - on the alter, so to speak, if it is burned up, it’s not worth building on - it’s not worth getting into - it’s not worth your time, energy and money - it has no real value - no eternal worth.

Just take it to the Lord and if it stands the fire, it’s worth building on - it’s worth getting into - it’s worth your time, your energy, our money - it has real value - eternal worth.

If you know that what you are about to do is going to be burned, when tested in the fire, why do it?

I know, it sounds too easy, but you either lay it before the Lord, try it in the fire, and get His blessings, prior to getting into something - or - you can have it tested after you get into it and spend a good part of or all of your savings, give up some things or even give up what is precious to you." Either way it will be tested.

God Thinking LXXIII - The Construction Connection 4

"11.  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
 12.  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
 13.  Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

There is no other foundation other than that of Jesus Christ.
Now the world’s religions say there are other foundations, but God says no - those other so-called foundations are not foundations at all, they are simply religious systems built by man to glorify a deity that does not and never did exist.

We are never to give/attribute to false religious systems any more veneration than they deserve.  None.

The scripture says:
2 Corinthians 6:14-17
14.  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
 15.  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
 16.  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?
for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
 17.  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

I hope that you choose to believe God and decide, once and for all, to quit dabbling, quit even giving ear to false religions and extra-biblical teachings.  The Word says,  “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”

Today, too many people want God to receive them, without being separated (in heart and mind) from the unbelieving world and they want permission to keep the unclean thing around and maintain the anointing of God.

You can’t have it both ways."

God Thinking LXXIII - The Construction Connection 3

"When you say no, to the work that the Holy Spirit is trying to do by you, you quench the work of God working in you and through you.
9.  For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
10.  According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 1 Corinthians 3:9-10

You are building a life, guided by the Holy Spirit.  As you yield to God you are building upon the foundation that was laid, Jesus Christ.

God says to take head how you build on that foundation, because you are able to build on it, that which is by inspiration and direction of the Holy Spirit and you can build on it something else, too.

What you build on the foundation, that is of God, directed by God, affirmed in your spirit, is for your good and the good of those around you.

What you build on the foundation, that is not of God, not directed by God, not affirmed in your spirit, is not for your good and is not good for those around you."

God Thinking LXXIII - The Construction Connection 2

"When God says we are labourers together with Him, God is saying that what God is doing is being done by you and God as a cooperative project.

Have you ever thought that the person that you work with at your job is going to find the Lord whether or not you share with them your testimony?
What if they are the farm that God has put you in as the farmer?
“Oh, that ‘s ridiculous, God doesn’t need me to complete any project.”  “If God wants it done, God will send somebody else to do it.”

Why are you so quick to pass when God calls you to be co-workers with Him?
Why should it even come up?
Why aren’t you as excited about being part of what God is doing as you are about passing the buck?
Who taught you that if you don’t work with God in cooperation as a labourer together with God, on a specific project, that anybody can do the job?

If God is in you, then you should give place to God to operate in you and through you to accomplish the tasks at hand.

You are His husbandry, God’s land, God’s farm - ye are God’s building, God’s structure, that place where God resides.
And in twenty-one other texts the Word calls us God’s husbandmen, God’s land farmers.

You are God’s land - a place to be tilled and farmed.

And you are God’s land farmers - the one who does the farming.

You are God’s building, where God resides.  God is operating in you and through you, so that by you, God’s will, will be accomplished.

It is pretty important that you understand this concept otherwise the work of Christianity might be vague to you. If you were designed to play a greater role and if you were designed to co-create with God, wouldn't you want to find out all you could about that type of relationship?"

God Thinking LXXIII - The Construction Connection 1

"I want to speak to your spirit this morning.
God Thinking is about what God thinks.
You need to be built up, not beat up.
I am going to speak to your spirit words that will build you up - something that will lift up your spirit and give you back the joy and the peace that the world has stolen from you.

But first, you must uncover the enemy - You must disclose the “why is it this way?” answer - I am going to reveal what it is that is stealing your joy and your peace from you -  not once a year, but sometimes once a month or once a week or God forbid, even more frequently than that.

Somebody is being led to make a decision that your spirit knows you should not make, but your mind is fighting you all the way.  You are getting ready to purpose something without confirmation from God, without going to God in prayer and laying it down at the alter to see if it is wood hay or stubble, silver, gold or precious stones. Before you do.

Hear the Word of the Lord:
1 Corinthians 3:6-15
6.  I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
 7.  So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
 8.  Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
 9.  For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
10.  According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
 11.  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
 12.  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
 13.  Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
 14.  If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
 15.  If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Verse 9 says:
“9.  For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
I can’t help myself or anybody else and neither can you until you believe what God says about how you are to operate in this life.
God says, “ we are labourers together with God:” labourers is from three Greek words that means “companion together; a co-worker in the same occupation; those who cooperate together, and agree by consent, to accomplish a goal with God. Are you a labourer with God?"

God Thinking LXX - Have You Caught The Vision? 8

"What is God calling you to do that fits perfectly into God’s plan for your life?

What are you doing to insure that your relationship with God is kept Holy and precious?

Are you pro-active in seeking, finding and doing the will of God?

Have you caught the vision of what God is doing today and made your life plan to fit around it?

You could believe what God prophesied to you in scripture about the times you are in.

You could receive the fullness of the blessing that God has prepared for you.

You could receive the promises of God and incorporate them into your daily life.

You could trust God implicitly and rest when things seem awry, because You believe and understand that God operates with full revelation, not only of what happened but of what is going to happen as well.

You could believe what God wrote down for you and live by the principles and precepts that God has ordained.

You could follow Christ.

You could read God’s Word and let it become who we are.

You could pray, expecting that God moves on your behalf, because God sees the end from the beginning and He knows that you don’t.

You could put the mind of Christ on top in your mind, and redistribute the lessor things and push them down and them out altogether, ultimately so that what you think will make you more like God. - not so that you can dethrone God like satan tried to do, but so that you can commune with God.

To commune with God is to offer your free-will to God and receive God’s will in you. - To offer your free will to God and receive God’s will in you.

If you are to grow to where God can reach you during the week, during the day, you will have to catch the vision that God has for you."

God Thinking LXX - Have You Caught The Vision? 7

"The events of the old testament times were a foreshadowing  of the new covenant, (but not until Jesus was born, lived a righteous/sinless life, died for our sins and rose again from the dead, ascended into heaven, and sent the Holy Spirit), did God enable the efficacy of the new covenant.

This new covenant is yours, by accepting the free gift of salvation and the indwelling Holy Spirit.

Unless you, accept by faith, what God is doing, in your life, which is; to make you a holy, you could find yourself denying God like those before you.

You could deny God like they did at the time of Noah, through sin and godlessness and break fellowship with God altogether.

You could deny God like the Israelites did by practicing their religious philosophy above God’s Holy Word and miss what God was doing right in their midst.

Or you could receive from God His revelation about your purpose and His plan for your life - (God’s role in your life and your role in God’s plan) and enjoy and partake of what God is doing in your midst."
