V 29 For whom He did
foreknow, He did also predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son,
that He (Jesus) might be the firstborn among many brethren.
V30 Moreover, whom He
did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also
justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.”
If you can clearly
see that before God predestined anything
for anyone, what He predestinated for them was based on what He
foreknew they would do.
God did not
predestine that those who choose to do evil would at the same time be
performing God’s will. God did not
predestine that those who love to do evil are pursuing the purpose of God.
Predestinate comes
from the Greek word (proorao) which means {to behold, to see in advance and
declare the outcome of.
What God saw in advance of you, He declared the outcome of.
What God saw in advance of you, He declared the outcome of.
When the bible talks
about predestination, it is not talking about blindly bringing something to
happen, without the foreknowledge of the outcome, despite the circumstances.
“For whom He did
foreknow, He did also predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son.”
God’s purpose for
your life is that you will be conformed to the image of His Son, and if you
have accepted the free gift of salvation, you will be conformed to the image of
His Son.
We all have pursuits,
and it is reasonable and sensible to pursue God ordained goals, dreams and
tasks at hand. God knows all about your
life’s goals, your dreams and those things that you must do."
