Please, don’t fight
the Holy Spirit. As God gently urges you
to take God at His Word, make the decision to make some changes in the way you
do some things, as it pleases God.
God
Thinking is about searching out the things of God above all things.
It is
about seeking the will of God in every aspect of oyur life.
It is
about abiding in Christ and being moved by the Holy Spirit to be a good steward
of what God has given you.
God
Thinking takes nothing for granted, but in everything and in every way, God
Thinking steers you to fulfill your calling, not only to accept the free gift
of salvation, but also to receive and practice the mind of Christ.
God
Thinking compels you to follow the invitation of Jesus, “Come,
follow Me”. God
Thinking tells you to yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit, to walk in
the Spirit and not in the flesh.
God
Thinking has a high and lofty view of God - one that believes God’s
revelation of Himself. It trust’s the
Word of God and trust’s the principles that God established from the foundation
of the world.
God
Thinking points you to hear God, believe Him, trust in His ways and then
get on about doing the will of God.
But, not
everybody practices the principles of living a godly life and being a good
steward of what God has endowed you with.
What
happens when you as an individual, or as a group, or as a nation make up our
own rules about how we should live our lives and how we steward over God’s
creation - God takes a backseat, and given enough time, God will be pushed out
all together.
Once you
do understand - once it is revealed to you that God established principles for
living and principles for stewardship, that work - you look back wishing you had
been doing life His way all along."
