Unlike
any other book, God deposits more of Himself into you as you read, if, as you
read, you read for the purpose of receiving from God, His timeless truths.
Let me
make it clear.
If you read
the scriptures to gain knowledge - you will gain knowledge.
If you read the Word of God to know more than someone else - you can also do that.
If you read the scriptures to find loopholes so you can get around the essence of God’s truth, well you can do that too.
But, what
if wyouread the Word of God asking God to instruct you in righteousness?
What if
uou read the Word of God, deciding that you are going to believe every word that
we read?
What if
every time you saw something in the Word of God that you didn’t particularly
like, you decided that you would believe God anyway and learn to like it?
What if,
when you read the Word of God, you asked God to change you, transform you, by
allowing the truth of the Word to operate in you and through you?
Can you
see the difference in reading the Word of God and reading the Word
of God?"
