God Thinking LVII - The In-between times 6

"ABUNDANT LIFE

B - Believe.  “Only believe” Mark 5:36, It’s all the theology you will ever need.   When Jesus said this, He was talking to a group of Jews.  One, was a ruler in the synagogue, who’s daughter had just died.  Even the very ones who mocked Jesus, and would later send Him to the cross couldn't stop Him from being the Son of God - full of power and hope, full of belief. 

Even in this most hopeless situation, Jesus, not only believes, but He imparts His power to believe to anyone who will receive it, to anyone who will hear His voice and heed it.  Only believe. 

Jesus steps into a den of mockers and into the home of one who has just lost their child and says, “Talitha Cumi”, and the child comes forth from death to life. 

What is it that you need Jesus to say on your behalf? 

Only believe.      

Hold on to what God says, both in His Word and in Your heart. 

• Believe that God really does know best.
• Believe that God has a plan for you and it includes only the very best in life.  
• Believe for yourself.
• Believe in yourself.
• Believe you can.
• Believe that even if you can’t, God can, and He will for you.

When you believe in God, you give God the go ahead to treat you like a child of God.
