God Thinking XLVI - Understanding Foreordained 6

"For all those in Old Testament times who were looking forward to the coming of Christ, they were inspired to stay on God’s path because of the hope ahead of them.

You, on the other hand, who look back to Christ are inspired by His having gone before you.  But whether looking forward or looking back, Christ was the example of a life of communion with God.

If you were to retrain your thinking to believe that you could as much as you believe that you can’t, you could.

God wants you to follow Him in whatever you do.

If you are a carpenter and a husband and a family man, then the purpose of God for your life is that in those pursuits you endeavor to fulfill your dreams and aspirations while communing and associating and listening to God.

In past times it was thought that to have a relationship with God you had to be religious.  And the really religious would seek the ministry.

If it that were true, only Apostles and prophets, pastors and ministers could fulfill the purpose they were destined for, but it’s not true.  What God foreordained, He foreordained for each individual.

The purpose of God is for everyone.  In whatever station you are in - in whatever job you have - in whatever career track you choose - in wherever you are living - you can fulfill the purpose of God for your life."
