God Thinking XX - It's Not time That's The Problem...5

"Again God speaks to us in Mark 11:22b-24

“Have faith in God. V23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. V24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.  Mark 11:22b-24

There have been times when I didn’t believe God for the impossible and the impossible was impossible.  But, there have been times when I did believe God for the impossible and the impossible came to pass.

We need to go to the inner court and ask God to reveal His will for us.  Then when God does reveal His will then we let the revelation of God become our desire.

“What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

You shall have what you desire, when you pray, if you believe you can receive it.

God Thinking XX - It's Not time That's The Problem...6

"Ye have not, because ye ask not”.

I hope you seek God’s intervention and interaction in your goal setting.  It is God’s will that we desire God’s will, and when we do - God gives us our desires.

“Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

V5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.”  Psalm 37:4-5 This word way is the Hebrew word darak (daw-rak) which means ‘course of life’ or ‘course of action’.

Here in verse 5 where the Word says, “Commit thy way unto the LORD”, God is entreating us to invite Him into the course of life that we desire, our goals, our dreams, our tasks at hand, and God says, “He shall bring it to pass”.

That’s intervention, that’s interactive relationship, that’s how God works in our lives.

God interacts and intervenes in the affairs of those who invite Him in.

God Thinking XX - It's Not time That's The Problem...4

"Even though God created the heaven and the earth and made it to sustain and perpetuate life; As good as it is, it is just a small part of what God has done for us and even a smaller part of what God can do, with our invitation.

God the Father is interested in our goals - our dreams and every task at hand.  And God has made it clear that He wants to be included in our everyday affairs, our long term goals and our life’s dreams.

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: V8 For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. V9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will give him a stone? V10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? V11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?”  Matthew 7:7-11

When God says, “Ask and it shall be given to you”, it is clear that God wants to interact with us.

And again:
“And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. V14 If ye shall ask any thing in My name, I will do it.” John 14:13-14

Have you communicated to God what you need, in order to receive by faith, what only God can provide?

Have you asked God to intervene in your everything.

Do you believe God will do it?

If we ask in faith and believe in our heart that God will do, what we cannot do - God will do it?

God Thinking XX - It's Not Time That's The Problem...3

"If you gave God as much attention going into the choices you make you do coming out, you would own the world.
  • Your financial troubles
  • Your marital disasters
  • Your business failures
  • Your jumping into something too quickly
  • Your addictions and poor habits
would be reduced greatly or eliminated altogether.

You would not be wandering aimlessly in hopes of finding the right direction.  You would know the right direction.

Your Father in heaven knows what you need. (I like to ask the question), What does Jesus have to say about it? “Be ye not therefore like unto them: (those without Christ) for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask them” Matthew 6:8
God is good and righteous and holy.

God will not burst into your life uninvited.

You are a free moral agent with full autonomy to live out your life with or without God’s supernatural intervention.

God created a delightful planet with all the necessary components to sustain life and to sustain it very well.

Everything is supplied to sustain the natural body:
Food
Air
Water
Natural healing
and every good thing to operate and live.

All of this for all mankind: for the Hindu, the Shaman, the Muslim, the Shintoist, the Humanist, the Agnostic, even the Atheist - and they need not even acknowledge that God  exists.

Now that’s a great and just creator.

God Thinking XX - It's Not Time That's The Problem...2

"When you set goals, when you run after your dreams or perform the tasks at hand, and you do so with the understanding of how God interacts with you, “nothing will be impossible for you”.

We are the generation of God Thinkers.

We aim for the sky seeking God’s interaction, seeking God’s supernatural intervention.

When we are practicing God Thinking, we do not plan anything without including faith in the Almighty.

You shouldn’t have any goals that don’t require the hand of God to be fulfilled.

If what you are doing and planning to do doesn’t require the hand of God, you are living far below where your Father in heaven has raised you.

You have slipped from the call to faith.

You have accepted the world’s standard of excellence.

If you have not included the hand in God in what you are doing or planning to do, youe have not exercised your faith.

You have not believed God. “For whatsoever is not of faith is sin”. Ro 14:23

Most people include God in what they are doing just about the time it is time to bail out, when things go wrong.  “Oh, God please help me get out of this mess.  Don’t leave me alone to face this huge task alone.”  Ever done that?

If you prayed as earnestly:
  • Going into a business venture
  • Finding a tenant to rent to
  • Before you go to work each day
  • Picking a spouse to spend the rest of your life with
  • Taking a new job
  • Choosing a church
If you prayed as earnestly going into these things in your life, as you do when they begin to crumble - they would never crumble.

If we gave God as much attention going into the choices you make as you do coming out, you would own the world."

God Thinking XX - It's Not Time That's The Problem...1

"I am going to discuss goal setting in a way that you couldn’t get at a seminar for any amount of money.

You could get some of the secular points of goal setting from a Dale Carnegie or a Norman Vincent Peale seminar, but how to integrate your goal with how God intervenes and interacts with you can only come by revelation from God.

That’s what we are going to look, ‘how to have a goal, a desire, a dream or a task at hand and be in agreement with the will of God.’

Is God in the center of what you are planning?
Is God in the center of what you are doing?

What does goal setting have to do with spirituality?
It has everything to do with spirituality.

Your goals and dreams and tasks at hand should reflect your love and dependence on God.

If you are not in full understanding of the way that God interacts with you, then when you establish your dreams and goals, they will be based solely on your own natural ability.

When your dreams, goals and tasks at hand are developed from your natural ability, they cannot glorify God, because they require no faith, and the Bible says that “without faith it is impossible to please God.” Hebrews 11:6
