God thinking Pre-empt 16

"People pleasers make lousy worshipers.
Jesus say in John 4:23-24, "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24.  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

Life was never meant to be a game where you juggle your professional life, your family life, your Church life, your work life - as if they were independent of one another.

The only life that glorifies God is the integrated life.

The unbelieving world - secular humanist - agnostics - atheist and  - this is a hard saying - and the lukewarm Christian - All want you to play their game and their game is - GOD IS NOT FIRST.
There's more that the worldly purport.  Here this.
  • The things of God are not to be integrated into your life.
  • You can juggle a little Church with a little world.
  • A little marriage with a little womanizing.
  • A little Christianity with a little Eastern philosophy.
  • A little G rated TV with a little ....
  • A little integrity with a few bounced checks.
Freedom and enlightenment is when you are free from the wicked influences of this world - not when you are free to indulge yourself in them.

Take just a few moments and think the deepest thoughts of God you can muster up.
Allow yourself to be mesmerized by God.
Allow your thoughts to go deeper than ever before.
Talk to your inner man and listen as your highest self expresses God's perfect will in your life.
Visualize standing or sitting or bowing in God's presense, before the throne of God.
Force your mind to stop racing around and listen to God, carefully and often - without your cell phone on.

Go to God in your spirit and sense His acceptance of you.

This is cleansing and powerful and real.

God thinking Pre-empt 15

"You either believe it and receive it or you cannot have it (peace with God).

How many times do you need to read a scripture before you believe it?

I believe that the average person in America believes that the detour is the main highway.  The reason I can say that and without any doubt is because most Americans major on the minors and minor on the majors.  Born again believers have been inundated for so long (by a quickly deteriorating and demoralizing sin-sick society) that we have had to lower our standards in order to fit in, and we have.

I challenge somebody to demand from themselves not to continue in this way - just get up and walk around the room three times and ask God to change the way you think.

I challenge somebody to agree with me that you will once again set your sights on Jesus and learn to live Big - And to see the greater beauty and purity and love that God designed you to operate in.

If you could forget about what so and so is going to think of you just long enough to see the call of God and to put on the mind of Christ - you would have breakthrough after breakthrough."

God Thinking Pre-empt 14

"Most people have never experienced peace with God.
And it's not because it isn't available
Nor is it necessarily because you do not want it
Nor is it because in the general scheme of things you don't deserve it
You don't experience the peace of God because you are still trying to work your way into God's good grace.

You are still trying to pay for or make up for your lack of devotion to God.
  • You are still trying to cover up for lost time and commitment to your heavenly Father
  • You are still trying to pay for your indiscretion and sin.
  • You are still trying to make it right
And yet there is nothing you could ever do that will change God's mind toward you.
There's nothing you can do to make yourself worthy
  • There's no amount of penance
  •  No amount of retribution
  • No acts of mercy
  • No gift big enough
There's nothing you can offer God of equal value to His Son.

Christians are frustrated because they don't feel worthy.  This is a lie of the enemy.  You should expect the Jew and the Hindu, the Muslim and the Taoist to work hard to find peace with God, but the Christian?
There is no peace to be found apart from what God gives freely through Christ.

God Thinking Pre-empt 13

"All of your ills are because you judge your condition by comparing it with other conditions instead of comparing your condition with the written Word.
You have been duped by your enemy, because youwe still wish you had a clean slate to build on - when you need to stop building on your own slate altogether and learn to build on Christ's slate.

You cannot go back - so learn to let go.  You can't undo what is done, but you can undo what is keeping you from pressing on with a sure purpose, guided by the will of God.

YOU should be at peace with yourself.
YOU should be at peace with your family.
YOU should be at peace with your job.
YOU should be at peace with Christ.

Many of you have never experienced peace.  For others its been a while.  For some, their peace left them and it has not returned.  Then there are those who have peace with themselves and God.  They have been through the refiners fire.

Where average thinking and worldly lifestyles exist - peace is absent.  They cannot co-habitate.  There's only one inner man in each of us.

The peace of God comes when the thoughts you think are the thoughts of God.

Isaiah 26:3, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."

God Thinking Pre-empt 12

"You have settled for less because much of the hype and promises made to you by well-meaning family, friends, teachers and pastors turned out to be erroneous.

Your experience doesn't match what you are told should be.

Your faith soon declines.  You have heard so many sermons about how bad things are, you have trouble seeing how beautiful things are.

You have been told so long that you are a worm that when confronted with an uplifting and positive Word from God, about who you are in Christ, it seems almost foreign.

You've assigned yourself to mediocrity because you've been running on regular gas for far too long.  you weren't designed to run on regular gas.  You were designed to run on rocket fuel.
You've trained yourself how to read the Word of God and not be moved.

you've become like the Pharisees; you nurture the dead and kill the prophet.

You've lessened the bar.  No longer does it take a 70% to pass.  you've lowered the bar to 20% so no ones feelings get hurt.

You are constantly restructuring to cater to men's this and women's that.

You've become seasoned manipulators.

You've become OK with boxing God in/out to meet your time constraints.

This world is in its constant state of affairs, worldly, sensual, rebellious, self-promoting, because we think on the things of the world more than the things of God."

God Thinking Pre-empt 11

"God Thinking is when you (in your mind and in your inner man) restack what you know and put "on top" the things of God, and push down everything else, until all that is not of God is pushed down and then out altogether.

Going back to where you started.  In school, at home growing up, in college, Sunday School and even in Sunday service you have been taught what to think.  But adequate time and energy, devotion and meditation has not been presented to us on 'how to think'.  And yet 'how we think' is just as important as what you think.

Listen to the scriptures and let them have the pre-eminence in you mind and in your inner man.    Isaiah 26:3, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."

Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

God Thinking Pre-empt 10

" Go with me on a tangent for just a moment.  Haven't you (since you were born again) always known that God is in you and that you have been separated, in some cases by no action of your own.  Praise God.

If you are born again - in your inner man is the presence of the Holy Spirit.  Your inner man is in constant communication with the Holy Spirit. But even in those who are not born again - the inner man is encoded with the mark of the Maker on the inner man.  Even  the unsaved, senses God's divine intent for their life.
1 Corinthians 2:14, "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

As you unlearn what has been keeping you back - what is not ordained by God - and make room for the things of God, you are practicing what I call 'God Thinking.'
