To God Be The Glory 7

"To make sure it gets done, (that your faith receives it's due) Jesus gives you one more thing.  He gives you Himself.  Jesus reaches out His hand and lifts you up Himself. 

There are no shortcuts to fulfilling God plan

There are no get rich quick schemes

There are no multilevel marketing plans that can get you from A-B, from the call of God to the fulfillment of the call.

It takes hard work – true faith – and the Lord Himself.

There is a reason that God does it this way and it is found in verse 33.

V33 “Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped Him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.”

This is the big thing.  This is the lesson of lessons, the principle of principles. 

When you come when called or go when sent – using your gifts, skills or talents – to do the will of God – Who gets the glory at fulfillment time?

If all you have been through with your struggles and turmoil, your waves and tempest – If the path doesn’t lead you to the foot of Jesus – in humble adoration and will worship – you have been on your own.

If what you were called to is difficult, takes hard work, requires faith and supernatural intervention, looks impossible, but brings God the glory – it is of God.

The measure of your call / calling / task / job / skill / talent / goal / business deal / venture / project / church / ministry or anything else – the measure of whether it is of God is wrapped up I one simple question. 

Does God get the glory?

Does what you do drive you to worship God?

When God calls you to be or do or become anything he:

Makes it possible

He gives you the provision

He protects you

He gives you power – supernatural intervention

He secures it with Himself and all so you recognize Jesus and worship Him.

To God be the Glory.
