V2 And be
not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
And I say His righteousness, because the righteousness of Christ is found within the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is found within you, therefore the righteousness of Christ is within you. And you can do the will of the Father when you do those things that please the Father.
Just because you have the righteousness of Christ within you, doesn’t equate or mean that you will do the will of God by default, (as if by the very presence of the indwelling Holy Spirit alone, you do the will of the Father). You know that is not true. It is not by force or coercion (of the Holy Spirit) that you ever do the will of the Father, it is by submitting your will to the will of the Father, that you do the will of the Father.
You become
more like Christ as you exercise your self more in His righteousness. In other words, you rely on the
guidance of the Holy Spirit more than you used to, before and during what
you do, say, plan, where you go, where you stay, before or during anything.
