God Thinking VII - Does God Rely On You? 11

"15.  Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”
There is a group of people that are spiritually minded, and a group of Christians that are spiritually minded that think they need some type of extra-biblical experience to be really spiritual - and yet Jesus Himself only operated within the realm of God’s spoken Word.  And furthermore Jesus has made known to us every bit of knowledge and wisdom that was revealed to Him.  for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”
God designed you to be a branch that bears fruit, more fruit, much fruit.  God is the husbandman, the vinedresser and Jesus is the vine.  And you and have at your finger tips every Word that Jesus had.  Everything that God spoke to Jesus,
Jesus spoke to you, and you need to see the Word of God for what it is."

God Thinking VII - Does God Rely On You? 10

"9.  As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
 10.  If ye keep My commandments, ye shall abide in My love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in His love.
 11.  These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
 12.  This is My commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
 13.  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
 14.  Ye are My friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

I can understand the unbelieving world to have a real problem with this statement, but Christians claim to have trouble with it.  Who do we think we are, the clay saying to the potter, “Why hast thou made me thus?”  Romans 9:20

God Thinking VII - Does God Rely On You? 9

“1.  I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
 2.  Every branch in me that beareth not fruit He (The Father) taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
 3.  Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
 4.  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me.
 5.  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.
 6.  If a man abide not in Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.  (A branch without a tree is just firewood.)
 7.  If ye abide in Me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
 8.  Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be My disciples.  (Have you ever noticed that when God wants to get something across to you, He makes it perfectly clear, so there will be no doubt (due to lack of persistence or reasoning on God’s part).

God does not want His people in the dark, God wants you in the light, and that is why in these passages, God emphasizes the importance of the believer bearing fruit.  God wants each and every one of us to know that by our fruits we are known.  Matthew 7:16, Matthew 12:33, Matthew 13:23, James 3:17."

God Thinking VII - Does God Rely On You? 8

"It is the Word of God that makes me and sometimes breaks me, because I have stopped trying to get out of it what is convenient for me and I have chosen rather to make it my gospel.

I believe it, trust it, rely on it, align myself with it, have faith in it, and there is not one word in it that I would even consider changing, because I have come to believe it is the living Word of God.

I know that in the pursuit of knowing God, I will be revealed.

I have learned to accept God’s chastisement, God’s pruning, God’s purging, God’s cleansing, God’s eliminating, God’s eradicating and God’s liquidating.

I fully accept the outcome of pursuing a deeper and holier life, knowing that in that pursuit, the pathway is not paved with gold and fleece only, but that God may allow me to go through some things that I find no particular personal inclination to, nor do I find pleasure in, nor would I choose it.

I understand, believe and teach, that God’s grace is sufficient.

I have lent myself and my will to God with the understanding that it is possible, that I might have to change the plans I made previously, in the flesh.

In all this, I testify to you that I have nothing, know nothing,
understand nothing - I have no insight, inspiration, peace or rest - that is not provided for each and every believer and it is provided in God’s written Word."

God Thinking VII - Does God Rely On You? 7

"God is not going to change His mind, write a new book, alter His creation, bend the rules, break His Word, take back what He has said, send someone else, abide by popular consensus or consider alternate plans.

You will have to abide in Christ to bear fruit and it’s all about bearing fruit.

Let’s read the Word again, but before I do, let me share something with you first.  When I read the Word of God, I believe what God says.  I may not have full revelation, but I believe what I read, when I read the Word of God.
Every time I read the Word, God changes me.  He makes me feel good and He also dresses me down and reveals the true me, as I really am.  He reveals who I am when I am in the flesh - and He reveals who I am when I trust in the blood of Christ for my propitiation.

He lifts me up and He prunes me.

God encourages me and enlightens me and empowers me.

There’s times when I read the Word that I could walk on water and there’s times when God says to me, “you vain and little man”.

God’s Word proves me and improves me, changes me and reveals me.

It is by His Word that I can even know who I should be, why I should be it, when I should get on to it, where I should do it and how to do it."

God Thinking VII - Does God Rely On You? 6

"God designed you to receive what He is revealing.
God designed His Word so that when you read, you are inspired to move on its every premise.
  • satan is the one who has said the Word of God is complex complicated and cumbersome.
  • satan is the one who has said that you cannot live out what God says you can live out.
  • satan is the one who plants seeds of doubt every time you are about to get our breakthrough.
  • satan is the one who causes you to be double-minded and teeter totter back and forth from belief to unbelief.
  • satan is the one who says you cannot do what God says.
  • satan is the one who says you cannot be who God says you can.
  • satan is the one who has duped the pastors and priests to teach and preach less than the powerful and always flawless, inspired, infallible Word of God.
  • satan is the one, who, every time you start to believe something that God has said, tells you to check it out with the unbelieving world or other religious philosophies before  relying on its content.
It’s no wonder that this world is in such disrepair, even believers don’t believe."

God Thinking VII - Does God Rely On You? 5

"What is it with Christians today?  So many want everything God has to offer them - they want to drown in God’s provisions.  They want to:

hoard it, hide it

use it to elevate themselves

be one up on each other

But, the thought of having it so they can bear fruit (give it away) hasn’t become an active part of their plan.

It’s an active part of God’s plan.

As a matter of fact, God thinks that bearing fruit is the plan.

Let’s read it.

John 15:1-16

“1.  I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

 2.  Every branch (take a good look at this word branch, because this branch is you and me) and (If the branch is not, in Christ, it is not expected to bear fruit) in me that beareth not fruit He (The Father) taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, (cleanse it, prune it) that it may bring forth more fruit.

You are not reading some fairy tale where the story writer is using metaphors in hope of entertaining you. You are not reading someone’s fiction novel where you are moved by the plot, but at the same time you know that it isn’t real, so whatever is happening in the story isn’t going to happen in your life.

These are not words to consider, as if what God says should first be considered for possible ingestion.

These are not hollow words that might provide some insight to those who have found religion.

When God speaks to you, what God is saying, is what must be said.

When God tells you how it is, it is not so that you can see, if how it is, is how you want it to be.  God tells you how it is so you can know with utter certainty, how it is.

When God reveals the truth concerning the matter, it’s not so that you can calculate the cost to determine whether what God has said is worthy of your attention at this time.

God designed you to get it."

God Thinking VII - Does God Rely On You? 4

"God is pleased that He developed a plan of salvation that would take a man or a woman, teen or a child, and from the
moment of conception, begin molding them into a unique and precious person that would someday, by faith, come to know and understand, love and adore God, their creator, their heavenly Father.   Isaiah 44:2

God wants you to be inspired.
God wants you to be filled with His blessings.
God wants you to have insight.
God wants you to be delivered, overcomers, wise, prudent, empowered and strengthened.
God wants you to have joy and peace, happiness and fulfillment.
God wants your desires to be satisfied.
God wants your dreams and aspirations to be fulfilled.
God wants you to be content and comforted.
Every Word that God speaks to you confirms these timeless truths.

And everything that God created, He has designed and engaged/retained/reserved for service to you and me so that you could have the fullness of God’s provisions and bear fruit.

God Thinking VII - Does God Rely On You? 3

"This transformation, (in your mind to have the mind of Christ), however gradual or instantaneous, must be followed by fruit, (worth picking) in your life.  John 15:4

God is pleased with His creation.  Genesis 1:31

God is pleased that He has developed the perfect and (unquestionably the easiest way) for every man woman and child to have and enjoy eternal security.  John 3:16

God is thoroughly satisfied that His Word is sufficient to meet the need of every human soul, from the lowliest and poorest to the highly developed genius and the richest.  2 Corinthians 3:5

God is convinced that His way of providing for the atonement of every human being is, not only fair, but disproportionately fair to each and every living soul. Romans    5:11

God is pleased with the way He has presented to you the written Word to inspire you and give you insight and fill you with wisdom and empower you to be like Him.  Collosians 3:16"

God Thinking VII - Does God Rely On You? 2

"The implied meaning of God thinking is: that, as you are inspired and motivated (by what God has said) or (by what God is doing in your life), you then respond to that knowledge, wisdom, inspiration or motivation to accomplish the will of God that was revealed to you by God in or through the inspiration or motivation.

The thought that God thinking might somehow be interpreted to mean (self-elevation) derived from information that is exclusive to you - so that your inner man can be nourished and filled while the outer man is still wallowing in worldly pursuits is foolishness.

The thought that God enlightens you, fills you and empowers you in the inner man, so that you can continue to sow for the outer man is appalling, and not biblical.

The entire premise of God thinking is that you might gain insight from God that we can utilize in your daily life, insight that transforms your way of living so that it is pleasing to God - and so that you will have the wisdom and ability to assist others in transforming their lives and their way of living so that it is pleasing to God."

God Thinking VII - Does God Rely On You? 1

"God thinking demands that you gain insight into the mind of God, via inspiration - And then move forward with that inspiration and act upon the insight you received from that inspiration.

God thinking was never and is never about gaining knowledge and then idly expecting that the knowledge and wisdom that you have gained, will, in and of itself, attain you to anything.

This happened to the Greeks in pre-Christ days.  They became so full of knowledge that they began to think were something that they were not.  They began to think that they were gods - thus, Greek mythology.

It happened in Rome, Constantinople, China, Mexico and Tibet.  Whole nations fell into satan’s snare.

Elevated thinking without the inspiration of the Holy Spirit is fruitless, selfish, frivolous and temporal, (and fruitless is going to take on a new meaning after you understand God Thinking)."

God Thinking VI - A New Way To Think 15

"There are 6 primary components that provide what your body, mind and spirit are made of.
  1. The Spiritual component & God’s supernatural intervention
  2. Your dietary
  3. Your environment
  4. Traditional and cultural values
  5. Previous parental dysfunction
  6. Physiological influences
These six components of your makeup all contribute to the whole person.

Let's look at Your environment.

3. Your environment.  I studied indoor environment and air quality for 2 ½ years.  In that study, I learned about all the invisible contaminants that encroach our everyday world.  I learned the content of our air and how buildings breath.  I also learned what O³ is (Ozone) and how it affects us.  Air borne contaminants and contaminants found on the bottom of your shoes can play a huge role in your life.  To one degree or another the air you breath and the environment around you contribute to your overall well-being, good or bad.

I undestand that there is not a lot you can do about your workp[lace, but there is a lot you can do about your home environment.  Just make an effort to reduce the contaminants in the home and learn methods of replenishing your indoor air with some fresh air make-up.  The water you drink and they air you breath play a significant role in your overall health.  Do the best you can, but it does matter.

  3. Your environment
  4. Traditional and cultural values
  5. Previous parental dysfunction
  6. Physiological influences
These six components of your makeup all contribute to the whole person.

Let's look at Your dietary.

2.    Your dietary.  What you eat contributes to your mental and physical well-being, so much so that many nutritionist say that 'you are what you eat.'  To one degree or another what you eat does contribute to your overall well-being.  I am Constantly taken back at how many well meaning Christians make no conserted effort to positively affect their diet.

There is another mind set that pervades the Church today as well; that since we have been eating this way or that way for fifty years there is no real reason to affect any change.  Really?  You have been eating so nutritiously that there is nothing you can do to positively affect your diet?  The entire 'food fight' is so silly.  If you think that you can continue to be overweight or eat unhealthy foods on a regular basis and you don't want to and make any effort to assist in the process of creating a healthy environment for your body, go ahead, but don't try to back it up with scripture that food is not an important part of your whole wellness plan.

God devised a great plan for health and gave us all the finest foods with an unlimited variety to be eaten and used for our wellness and personal satisfaction.  It is the adulterated food and processed junk and overeating that is killing many people today, not the bounty of goodness that God provided.  A little common sense can go a long way in positively affecting your overall health.

  3. Your environment
  4. Traditional and cultural values
  5. Previous parental dysfunction
  6. Physiological influences
These six components of your makeup all contribute to the whole person.
Let's look at each one.

1.     The spiritual component is made up by what you believe - I mean what you truly believe, deep down in your soul and the faith to make what you truly believe come true.

Along with your belief and your faith is supernatural intervention, the indwelling Holy spirit and God’s timely impartations.

But you are a multi-dimensional being, and to serve God with your whole self, you need to understand your whole self and put God thoughts “on top” to deal with every component of your whole self and not just your spiritual component."

God Thinking VI - A New Way To Think 12

"Gods thinking can also be seen as Re-stacking your thoughts to place life changing, powerful principles “on top” in your mind, and redistributing the lesser things, pushing them so far down in the mind that they practically disappear.

---------------------------------------

When you are thinking about the things of God the light of the Lord shines brightly on everything and the things of this world  grow curiously dim.

Putting “on top” simple truths, God breathed truths, time honored truths, root truths, gives you an edge for the day.

God thinking is practicing thinking God thoughts, beautiful thoughts, good thoughts, thoughts that build up, thoughts that empower, thoughts that encourage.

This process of thinking God thoughts will in time thoroughly steer the day.

There are many enemies that will show their ugly face when the things of God become what’s “on top”.  But hold on just as long as you can.  You can succeed.

Have you ever been inspired to do something or inspired to be something?  Have you ever been inspired by something, like a great book or an inspiring movie, a great speech or a new truth?
  • You get all excited.
  • Inside you feel invincible.
  • It seems as if you know some secret inside, something that can get you where you are going, faster.
  • You believe you can.
  • As a matter of fact, you are positively certain you can.
  • You get so excited that you just know that something great is going to happen.
Then, just 24 hours later or 24 minutes later , doubt and trepidation set in.  All of a sudden, your not quite sure anymore.  What was a dream come true just 24 hours ago is now just a dream and maybe even less than that, a whim.
Yesterday you could move a mountain, and today, even tiny pebbles seem like the Hoover dam.  I would like to tell you it’s just doubt that has set in, but that wouldn’t be totally true.

Sometimes doubt sets in and you can battle doubt in your mind with belief.  But sometimes it is a combination of things in your life, that together make up the whole problem.

You are made up of multiple dimensions.  You know that you are body, mind and spirit.  You know that you have a soul and a heart.  That’s what you are.  But I am going to discuss what makes you who you are."

God Thinking VI - A New Way To Think 11

"The words you speak, they are life and they are spirit.  Disarming words are words that destroy instead of create.  They are words that tear apart instead of put together.  God thinking words build up, enlighten even heal. They are words with power and authority that create the right outcome.

There are a lot of people looking for what they already have.

Enlightenment is understanding and utilizing your deepest knowledge of God in the everyday things you are doing, nothing more and nothing less."

God Thinking VI - A New Way To Think 10

"God thoughts rise “on top” in your thinking.  When God imparts something to you; you are ready to receive it.  When you are ready to receive it, God will impart something to you.  I hope you are geting this.

But, don’t think that God imparts Himself:
  • apart from His holiness.
  • apart from His mercy
  • apart from His forgiveness
  • apart from His righteousness
God imparts Himself to those who are willing to receive Him.  But I want to tell you that if you receive an impartation of God - when God imparts something of Himself, into you, it  is imparted to purify and renew, enlighten and sanctify, but never to elevate you or to enhance your personal glory.

God thinking puts the things of God - the power of God - the authority of God - the Spirit of God - the word of God - God Himself “on top” in your mind.

If what’s “on top” is worry, fret, doubt, discouragement, then as the moments of life go by, we will be responding negatively, adversely & unfavorably.

If what’s “on top” is God thinking:
  • Thoughts of faith
  • Thoughts of healing
  • Thoughts of good health
  • Thoughts of helping others
  • Thoughts about Jesus
  • Thoughts about the Holy Spirit
  • Thoughts about Father God
  • Thoughts that think the Word of God
These thoughts can do anything.  They are not bound by natural law, they are governed by supernatural law."

God Thinking VI - A New Way To Think 9

"God is not just teaching you, God is imparting to you more of Himself.  You are apprehending the mind of God as God reveals Himself to you.

God isn’t as interested in you learning as He is in you receiving.  My God, how many times have you learned the same truths over and over again, and yet there is no power in your life.

It is not until you receive a truth that it becomes part of who you are.  While you are looking for some experience or sign, God is imparting Himself freely to those who will simply receive Him.

If you spent half the time receiving what God is imparting as you do re-learning the same principles over and over again, in just a short time, your mind and your heart would be so full of God that there would be no room for the empty promises of the world.

Let’s deal with this impartation a little.  Let me ask you something.  What do you put in your car’s gas tank?  What happens if you put water in it?  What would happen if you put juicy juice in it?

How many of you would plan to take your family to dinner knowing you couldn’t pay for it?

Who do you think is the best person to raise your kids?  You or somebody else?

Do you know why so many Christians today are “ever learning and never able to come to a knowledge of the truth?”

Do you really want to know why people would rather learn the same thing over and over than to learn it once and put it to use?

Do you really want to know why so few people truly want an impartation from God?

Because when God imparts Himself - imparts His truth - imparts His Spirit - You cannot remain the same.
