God Thinking LXI - Good Theology 3

"Even though secular society has attempted to eliminate God, everything has its roots from God.

For example to study biology without tracing the first organism back to the time of creation is futile.  No true study of biology can be made except, “And God said”.

To study cosmology without tracing the universe back to its creator is guessing, not science.  Good science must account for the origin of a thing before it can build a preponderance of evidence to make legitimate conclusions about that thing.

Sociology: Men study society and its origins as professors without giving the scriptures their rightful due.  In the scriptures, every generation of man is traced back from Jesus to Adam.

The rise and fall of civilizations were recorded with pin-point accuracy, but ignored by secular humanist.

The classrooms of America are filled with material designed and provided by secular humanist that don’t believe a word of the Bible."

God Thinking LXI - Good Theology 2

"Theology is the study of that which is of God or from God  or spoken by God.

The root of all ology’s are from God:
  • Biology - The study of living organisms.
  • Cosmology - The study of the cosmos - the dynamics of the universe.
  • Sociology - The study of social structures.
  • Anthropology - The study of the origins of culture, and the development of man.
  • Physiology - The study of the biological science of life processes.
  • Psychology - The study of the mind.

There’s a battle going on for the minds of men, women, teens and children.

This battle was waged in order to convince the world that you can study the world and everything in it without acknowledging a creator.

By doing this, secular society, (those without Christ), attempt to educate and council, without the aid of the indwelling Holy Spirit - without the theology of God.

That’s why our society is so sick.
That’s why, even in the Church, sin and indiscretion is taken lightly.

Anyone, believer or non-believer who believes what the world says, over what God says - will have constant turmoil, impending trouble, unresolved conflict and seemingly impossible situations.

You need to be as up on God’s theology as you are new music, new video games, new fashion, new anything."

God Thinking LXI - Good Theology 1

"You are the handiwork of God.  You and everything made that is made was made by God.

The Apostle John said it like this:
John 1:1-3
1.  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
 2.  The same was in the beginning with God.
 3.  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  I believe the Word.

The Apostle Paul said it like this:
Colossians 1:16-17
16.  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
 17.  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.  I believe the Word.

The writer of Hebrews puts it like this.
Hebrews 1:1-2
 1.  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
 2.  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Note: This may come as news to you since for centuries our pastors and priests have been teaching that theology is for the learned; for those in seminary or those studying for the priesthood, pastorate or the rabbinical life. This of course is false. Good theology is the distribution of the knowledge of God from God, by the indwelling Holy Spirit directly into your soul, (the inner man) without the need to pass through some form of dilution or distillation.

It is not and never has been necessary to go through a mediator to find, apprehend and know God.  That in no way makes light of the true ministerial profession which is to facilitate the believer with information that can assist their journey, nothing more and nothing less.  Most of the added two-cents of extra-biblical teaching, denominational polity and inter-faith arrangements benefit only the business of providing spiritual direction, but in every way take from the true essence of a genuine natural relationship with Christ found by the searching of the inner man for his creator.

Anything, anyone, any religious philosophy, any denominational bent that keeps you from daily progress (the progress of feeling secure and in a right relationship with God) should be replaced with real personal devotion to the things of God found in the scriptures. Is there one thing that fits that criteria in your life? Dump it.

If you can't walk away from even one thing that is keeping you from a deep and personal relationship with God, how can you overcome the multitude of pressures that come your way every day that are designed to steer you away from God?  You can't.  You have got to start somewhere. Today is a good day for just such a cause.

Because you are the handiwork of God, the solutions to all of your problems, situations and circumstances are theological in nature.

Theo comes from the Greek word 'Theos', which means 'of God' or 'from God' or 'by God', and logical from the Greek word 'Logos', which means 'to speak', or 'spoken', i. e., Theological: That which is spoken of, from or by God.

God Thinking LX - As You Get Closer 10

"James says in James 4:7
“7.  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
“Get thee behind me, satan, for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.”  Luke 4:8

Is the battle over when you get close to God?  No.  But the results of the battle have been foretold, and you win.
  • You need to start seeing God as God Almighty.
  • You need to see God as the biggest thing in your life, not your problems.
  • You need to see God as your incredible provider, that comes through every time.
  • You need to see God as your very help in time of trouble - The One who is always there and does beyond what you could ever imagine.
  • You need to see God as the One who goes ahead of your everything to make a way for you.

Stop fretting.  Spend the minutes or hours, days or years you are worrying about your problems and your situations and spend them at the foot of the throne of God, and your problems will melt away like butter in an oven.

If you don’t believe it, start believing it.
If you aren’t used to going to being in the presence of God, start today.  God doesn’t put anybody down, He only lifts them up.

God is waiting right now for you to get alone with Him so that He can show you His plan for you.  You will be pleased.  You will come away from the throne built up.

You might not like everything that God reveals, but you will be forever thankful that God revealed it.

God knows your future, you should be open to what God has to say, it will be what you need to hear.

God thinking brings you into the presence of God, to get closer.

Decide to get closer this week.
Set aside a time when you can go to God and talk, uninterrupted.
Demand it from yourself.
You will be pleasantly surprised at what God is about to tell you."

God Thinking LX - As You Get Closer 9

"I am going to let the cat out of the bag:

If you agree with me as I speak the truth about our enemy, please say Amen or hallelujah or speak the words out  loud.

Hear me on this and contemplate its truth and it will change the way you see your battle, forever.

I want you to hear what I have to say to satan and his whole armada of ungodly and profane ways.

"You are vial and insignificant.
Your ploys have been uncovered and you have been revealed.
I have seen the nothingness that you are.

You have no authority in my life, in my home, or at my workplace.

Every time you show your wicked face
Every time you even get near to me
Every time you threaten my children
Every time you harass me
Every time you harass my friends
Every time you harass my family
Every time you speak in my presence
I am going to tell someone the truth about you.

You are small and insignificant.
You are beaten and lost beyond pardon.
You are of no consequence.
You are fully void of any value.

In the name of Jesus, I stand against you."

God Thinking LX - As You Get Closer 8

"As you get closer to God.

Your enemy comes after you with a vengeance to remind you that everything that God says is true, isn’t true.

Every time you have a genuine great thought that draws you closer to God, here comes satan to remind you of how utterly ridiculous it is to think you could ever get closer to God.
  • satan jeers in the background, because he has seen so many Christians say one thing and do another.
  • satan has seen so many Christians start out one way and end up another.
  • satan counts the times when you fail and brings them to your remembrance every chance he gets.
  • satan lies to you about what happens when you get closer to God.
  • he lies about what is ahead for you.
  • he lies about what the results of the encounter will be.
  • he lies about what you’ll lose, what you’ll gain, what effect it will have on others, what your place is in the big picture.
  • satan lies to you as you start to draw close to God, because he knows the truth about himself, which he has managed to hide from so many people today."

God Thinking LX - As You Get Closer 7

"I know some of you have experienced this knowing - inside, about some things, and you have moved on them and these things in your life that just weeks ago seemed insurmountable or running out of control - have taken on their true identity - which is, situations that you can manage under the guidance of the Holy Spirit of God.
I wish I could hear you say Amen.

As you get closer to God:
  • The world and everything it offers takes its proper place in the presence of God, (full of false hope and empty promises).
  • The huge and seemingly impassable obstacles look like toys made with toothpicks when we get close to God.
  • Your worst, real live nightmare fades into obscurity in the presence of God.
As you get closer to God:
  • God imparts hope to encourage you that you can accomplish your dreams in spite of every barrier and God let’s you see how to do it.
  • God let’s you into His foreknowledge that you can and that vision is enough to take you to your next level.
I hope you are letting this get down into your spirit.
Your faith rises to a new level.  The kind of faith that needs no further proof - faith that needs no sign - raw faith that believes things into existence.

As you get closer to God:
  • The impossible becomes probable and then the probable becomes conceivable and then the conceivable becomes potential and the next thing you know, what was impossible is now actuality."

God Thinking LX - As You Get Closer 6

"Why is it that God’s people do not follow God’s ways?

I believe it is time to ante up in our lives and take a hard look at our ways to see if our ways are God’s ways.

It’s not prudish or overly spiritual to take a look at your life and evaluate yourself to see if you are living out your salvation experience in the manner that God prescribed for you.

Paul says in 2 Corinthians 13:5
“5.  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?:”

I can tell you this with certainty.
A little self evaluation is far less painful than the adversity that comes with chastisement by God or the empty feeling that comes with knowing that you are out of God’s will.

It is better that you come to recognize your errors early, so you can adjust your lifestyle to avoid any more pain that comes with being outside of the will of God.

Is there pain and suffering and negative consequences with living outside of the will of God?

Is it unreasonable for this pastor to ask you to evaluate your relationship with God, to make sure that you are living out your calling, in Christ?

As you get closer to God - God gets real big - You sense the awesome power of God - You sense the light of God, the brilliance that emanates from the throne of God - You sense the holiness of God.

As you get closer to God something else happens also.
  • The things of this world grow ever so dim.
  • The so called big problems get smaller and smaller.
  • The past takes its proper place.
  • What was a crisis yesterday, God turns into a matter not worth           mentioning.
  • What was so big you thought you couldn’t get through it, gets very small.
  • What used to look good to you, starts to look less delectable, because your eyes are opened to see more than the moment.
  • You can see further into a thing in the presence of God, because God reveals to you more of His foreknowledge as you get closer."

God Thinking LX - As You Get Closer 5

"I believe that God is calling you to practice living with what God has supplied and ordained for His children - And also God is calling you to practice living without those things that are not for you, those things that are not supplied by God , nor are they ordained for His children.

David speaks to us in Psalm 95 and God speaks to us through David in Psalm 95.  God knew that you and I would someday read Psalm 95.  In it is David’s response to being in the presence of God, but in it God speaks to us also.

Psalms 95:1-11
1.  O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
 2.  Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
 3.  For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
 4.  In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
 5.  The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
 6.  O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
 7.  For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
 8.  Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
 9.  When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
 10.  Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
 11.  Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

God’s people do not always know God’s ways.
There are many reasons why God’s people do not know God’s ways, but:
Lack of God’s urging is not one of them.
Lack of God’s calling is not one of them.
Lack of God’s revelation is not one of them.
Lack of God’s constant directing is not one of them.
Lack of God’s Supernatural intervention is not one of them."

God Thinking LX - As You Get Closer 4

"The Holy Spirit convicts of us sin and reveals what should be put “on top” in the mind and convicts us of what needs to be pushed down and out.

The Holy Spirit steers us to conform to the image of God and to put off the old ways.

The Holy Spirit leads every child of God to take responsibility as a creation of God for His or her own actions.

There are many counterfeit Christians and they are not interested in what God says.

God declares He will have:

God is calling us out to be a peculiar people.
A people in love with His Son.
A people devoted to the things of God.
A people informed in the truths of Scripture.
A people who look for ways to build His Church.
A people who desire holiness.
A people hungry for the things of God.
A people who adore the Lord.
A people who seek the narrow path.
A people who choose to be like Christ.
A people who trust God.
A people who love one another.
A people tempered in righteousness.
A people of faithfulness.
A people who follow Christ.
A people that desire to be with His people.
A people who enjoy worship and praise.
A people that give to the poor.
A people that answer the call.

Why would anyone want to go to heaven that doesn’t enjoy the things of God on this side?

If you don’t like the things of God on this side, what makes you think you are going to like the things of God on the other side."

God Thinking LX - As You Get Closer 3

"God is moved when those who claim to be saved treat His temple like a drug den.

God is moved when His people write more bad checks than the world.

God is moved when His children spend more of their money on entertainment than they do in helping the church reach the lost.

God is moved when His own people deny Him His rightful place in their lives.

God is moved when His people cheat and lie and steal.

Why bring up all these depressing things?

Today, too many people represent the work that Christ does in us as pitiful, powerless, weak, impotent, and insignificant.

They claim Christ, but not the work that Christ does in them.

They claim to be a new creation, that just happens to enjoy all the same old habits as before.

They claim that Jesus is Lord...but...

Jesus said in Luke 6:46 “And why call ye Me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”

The Holy Spirit reminds the believer that Jesus is Lord and to be worshiped and adored.  The Holy Spirit brings to our attention that we are Ambassadors of Christ and as Ambassadors we have a responsibility to accurately represent Him to a lost and dying world."

God Thinking LX - As You Get Closer 2

"God is not a bit distraught that spiritist, crystal ball readers, palm readers and card readers make money off of the vulnerable and ignorant public at large.

God is not moved by all the skeptics that think that the Bible is just a history book and a not very accurate one at that.

God is not worried that scientist will discover that we were once monkeys and that the earth did begin by two stars colliding 5 billion years ago, give or take a few billion years.

God is not unsettled that politicians would refer to God as, an “opiate to the masses”

God is not moved by the poets referring to Him as the one that isn’t.

God is not moved by the philosopher’s final analysis that, “God is dead.”  We have come to learn that Notradamos is dead, not God.

God is not worried when satan and all his demons make up some new potion for people to try - or when satan repackages imitations of God’s Word and sells them as philosophy.

But, God is moved when those who call themselves Christians ignore His plan for their lives."

God Thinking LX - As You Get Closer 1

"Just because there are many ‘ways’ offered by various religious groups doesn’t mean that those ways are credible.

God is not in competition with anyone.

God is not concerned that you or someone you know or some guru from Nepal or Jihadist from Iraq is going to come up with a better plan or a better way than His plan.

There is no book that God needs to be concerned about - One that might reveal something that God forgot to tell us in the scriptures.

God is not at all moved with the thousands of varieties of religious beliefs and religions that add to or take away from God’s inspired Word.

God is not at all surprised when Islam or Hinduism or Taoism attempts to stake a claim as a viable authority into the heart of God.

God is not concerned that the whole world seeks after something or someone other than His Son to fulfill their inner desire to know their creator."

God Thinking LIX - The Number Of Man 14

"The last major event of the last days is:
The creation of the Gentile world domination/power
also referred to as the European Union.
Timeline: 5993 or 2021 or prior
(Daniel 7:19-26), also referred to as the culmination of Eastern and Western empires Daniel 2:41 and by theologians as the European Union and the “one world government” in Ezekiel 38:2.

I don’t know how close you are following world events, but this idea of the European Union has already been initiated.

There’s one more major event that God prophesied that would have to take place prior to the creation of the Gentile world domination/power or the rapture of the Church.

The reinstatement/restoration of Israel.
Timeline: 5920 or 1948 A.D.

The reinstatement/restoration of Israel was predicted in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel and especially in Ezekiel Chapter 37 and 38.

That was 66 years ago.

Here’s where we are in time.
Now going forward
The next major prophesied event to take place
The creation of the European Union prior 5993 or 2021 or prior.
Then The rapture 5993 0r 2021 A.D. or prior
using the seven year spread it could be as early as 2014 and as late as 2028.
Then the great tribulation
Then the battle of Armageddon
Then the second coming of Christ
Then the binding of satan for 1,000 years
Then the 1,000 year millenial reign of Christ
Then satan is released for a short time
Then satan is cast into hell
Then the great white throne judgement
Then the new heaven and the new earth.
Hallelujah."

God Thinking LIX - The Number Of Man 13

"Prior to the rapture of the Church is:
The last days.
Timeline: Jesus mentioned that the last days had already begun during His ministry, A.D. 30 and continues to this day.
Whether you agree with the A.D. timeline that I have prepared, for the events that God says will take place, or not, the timeline of the scriptures says that we are approximately in the year 5993.

The last days of the Church age is that portion of scripture that we live in today.

2 Timothy 3:1-7
1.  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
 2.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
 3.  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
 4.  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
 5.  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.  (Need I say more)
 6.  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
 7.  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

I can’t help but say, Amen.

2 Peter 3:3
3.  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

Matthew 24:4-12, especially Verse 6,7,8,9,10
 6.  And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars:
 7.  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
 8.  All these are the beginning of sorrows.
 9.  Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
 10.  And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

We are at the end of the last days."

God Thinking LIX - The Number Of Man 12

"Prior to the great tribulation is:
The rapture of the Church.
Timeline: 5993 or 2021 or prior

The rapture of the Church and the beginning of the great tribulation are synonymous.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-17
13.  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
 14.  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
 15.  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
 16.  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
 17.  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52
 51.  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
 52.  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Revelation 4:1
1.  After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

Hereafter what?  The completion of the Church on earth.
The first 3 chapters of Revelation are devoted to detailing the seven types of Churches during the Church age and the seven timelines of the Church during the Church age, the seventh Church being the Church of Laodicea.
The Church is not mentioned again in scripture with the exception of the last chapter of Revelation, when Jesus reiterates one last plea and says, “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.”  Revelation 22:16"

God Thinking LIX - The Number Of Man 11

"Prior to the second coming of Christ is:
The beginning of the great tribulation which occurs in the first 3 ½ years after the rapture of the church.
Timeline: 5993 or 2021 or prior

Revelation 11:1-2
 1.  And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
 2.  But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

Also Daniel 2, 7, 9
Psalm 2:1-5
Revelation 16:1-15
V 1.  And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

Matthew 24:15-21, especially V15 & amp; 21
15.  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
 21.  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

The great tribulation is not for the Church.

During the time of the great tribulation, the world is governed by gentile world domination, the first 3 ½ years is devoted to organizing world powers to come into union against Israel and the second 3 ½ years is devoted to exacting war against Israel.

Christians have protected and will protect the nation of Israel until the rapture, at which time born-again believers will be taken out of the earth.  After the rapture of the Church the nation of Israel will stand alone to defend itself against the entire world.

And we see in V 22 of Matthew 24, “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved:...”

God Thinking LIX - The Number Of Man 10

"Prior to the battle of Armageddon is:
The second coming of Christ.
Timeline: 5996.5 or 2024.5 or earlier.

Revelation 19:11-16
11.  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
 12.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
 13.  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
 14.  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
 15.  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
 16.  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Sometimes people get the second coming of Christ and the rapture of the Church mixed up, but they are two distinct events at two distinct times.

The rapture, or the ‘catching up’ of the Church takes place seven years prior to the second coming of Christ.

The rapture is the catching up of the dead in Christ and those who are living at the time, literally, “the Church”, into heaven - and the second coming of Christ is the setting up a heavenly government on earth at Mount Zion to reign and rule with His saints for the next one thousand years."
