If you
have friends that don’t honor God with their being, break away
from their influence.
If you
have something in your life that has control, then God doesn’t. It’s time to break away - once
and for all and separate yourself from that thing or that person that is
throwing water on your wick.
If you
have a husband or a wife, a father or mother, a son or daughter, that keep you
from your spiritual best, break away (not from them as a person),
but break away from their declining spiritual condition. When you stand before God, only Christ
will be there with you, not husband, wife, father, mother, son or daughter. Draw nigh unto God, get alone with Him and He
will give you peace.
God will
enhance your relationship with your husband, wife, father, mother, son or
daughter if you will break away and let God fill you up."
