Thought for the day

"It is important to remember and practice what we learn, not just learn it and hear it. God-thinking is like that. If you practice the principles you learn, you are empowered by these principles. If you practice the principles you learn, you please God through faith. Here are some principles that I believe deserve to be re-visited. They are the kind of truths that change the way you think.

  • The way you think about God.
  • The way you think about what God has said about Himself.
  • The way you think about what God has said about you.
  • The way you think.
The goal of God-thinking is to learn to think the way God wants you to think."

Thought for the day

"If your goal or dream doesn't require the hand of God, then it's not all it could be. It doesn't meet the criteria of a goal or dream of a child of God. Every thing you do is to be by faith with the expectation of God completing you and bringing to pass the impossible, the miraculous. God blesses what He endorses and God endorses His Word. God reveals what He endorses by His Word and by revelation. Are you a dreamer? Can you just agree with me and say Amen?
  • Can you say in your heart, "I need to expand my dream and include the mighty hand of God in it?"
  • Can you say in your heart, "Enlarge my borders Lord and take away any doubt that would keep my dream from being all it can be."
  • Can you say in your heart that you want to seek the high ground - to go after the impossible - to step out in faith and trust God to bridge the gap between the natural and the supernatural.
God-thinking demands that you live by faith; faith that believes God, and God says, "commit thy way, (thy goal, thy path, thy desires, your course of life, your life's goals) and I will bring it to pass."

Do you believe that you should operate in faith with the wisdom of God?
  • Why do you attempt to manage so much of your life on your own?
  • Why do you wait until things go wrong to get God involved in the matter?
  • Why do you make plans without going to God on your knees and seeking His wisdom in the matter?
You must learn to use the threefold foundation of God-thinking in every goal, dream, desire or task at hand.

1 Choosing a goal that can be sanctioned by God.
2 Acknowledging what we are able to do towards creating our goal and acknowledging what is impossible for us to do and will require the hand of God.
3 Talking and listening to God while on the journey."

Thought for the day

"You need to go to the inner court and ask God to reveal His will for you. Then when God does reveal His will - you let the revelation of God become your desire. "What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Mark 11:24 You shall have what you desire, when you pray, if you believe you can receive it. "Ye have not, because ye ask not." James 4:2  I hope you decide to seek God's intervention and interaction in your goal setting.

It is God's will that you desire God's will, and when you do - God gives you your desires. "Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. V5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust in Him; and He shall bring it to pass."  Psalm 37:4-5 The word 'way' as used here is the Hebrew word darak (daw-rak) which means course of life or course of action. Here in verse five where the Word says, "Commit thy way unto the LORD," God is entreating you to invite Him into the course of life that you desire; your goals, your dreams, your tasks at hand, and God says, "He shall bring it to pass." That's intervention. That's interactive relationship. That's how God works in your life. God interacts and intervenes in the affairs of those who invite Him in."

Thought for the day

  • "Have you communicated to God what you need, in order to receive by faith, what only God can provide?
  • Have you asked God to intervene in your everything.
  • Do you believe God will do it?
If you ask in faith and believe in your heart that God will do, what you cannot do - God will do it? God speaks to you in Mark 11:22b-24 "Have faith in God. V23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. V24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

There have been times when I didn't believe God for the impossible and the impossible was impossible. But, there have been times when I did believe God for the impossible and the impossible came to pass."

Thought for the day

"Even though God created the heaven and the earth and made it to sustain and perpetuate life; As good as it is, it is just a small part of what God has done for you and even a smaller part of what God can do, with your invitation.  God the Father is interested in your goals, your dreams and every task at hand.  And God has made it clear that He wants to be included in your everyday affairs, your long term goals and your life=s dreams.  AAsk, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:  V8 For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.  V9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will give him a stone?  V10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?  V11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?@  Matthew 7:7-11  When God says, AAsk and it shall be given to you.@

It is clear that God wants to interact with you.  Again:  AAnd whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  V14 If ye shall ask any thing in My name, I will do it.@  John 14:13-14  Have you invited God to give you all that He has promised?

Thought for the day

"You need to take what Jesus says seriously. Jesus says follow me. He is on the narrow path that leads to life and He is calling each one of you to turn around and start going HIS way.

  • The world doesn't have anything on you.
  • Your Father in heaven has provided you with the very best.
  • Those outside of the will of God cannot say that.
  • You are strengthened by His presence in your life.
  • Those who love the world are on their own.
  • You are satisfied with the portion that God has dealt you.
  • The world, those who have not been born again - they are never satisfied, they never get enough.
  • You are empowered to overcome your real enemy, satan.
  • The world is powerless to overcome anything without Christ.
  • You are free from your sins.
  • The world is in bondage to their sins.
There are two paths. Which path are you traveling on?

Thought for the day

"Your Father in heaven knows what you need. (I like to ask the question), What does Jesus have to say about it? "Be ye not therefore like unto them: (those without Christ) for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask them." Matthew 6:8

God is good and righteous and holy. God will not burst into your life uninvited. You are a free moral agent with full autonomy to live out your life with or without God's supernatural intervention. God created a delightful planet with all the necessary components to sustain life and to sustain it very well. Everything is supplied to sustain the natural body: Food - Air - Water - Natural healing and every good thing to operate and live. All of this for all mankind: for the Hindu, the Shaman, the Muslim, the Shintoist, the Humanist, the Agnostic, even the Atheist - and they need not even acknowledge that God exists. Now that's a great and just creator."
