God Thinking 53 - Learning the hard lessons 3

"The Word is going to prophesy into your life right now:   One or more of these truths pertain to you and you need to identify them as they pertain to you and move on them, right now.

Philippians 3:15-16, 15.  Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, (mature) be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

 16.  Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing."

Your response to what you already know to be true is why your faith is where it is right now.

If you have faith that can move mountains, this verse is true in you and if you cannot even get through one day without being overcome, this verse is true in you.

So many of us aren’t living by the truths that we know.  Somewhere along the
way, somebody told us it didn’t matter much if we acted out our faith, so we
tread through life:
  • without being inspired
  • without being excited for God
  • without growing in faith
  • without enjoying worship
  • without praising God
  • without the kind of enthusiasm that comes with
living out what we already know to be true.

There should be more conviction in the Christian community today to live by the truths that they have already learned."
