Getting To Know God Better 22

What is it that you let influence you?

More than likely you are reading somebody's writing, whether it is religious or non-religious, the newspaper or other types of writing; blogs, letters from family, etc. Each word you read influences you in one way or another. I hope to influence you as well.

If you are like most people you read what can or might benefit you, educate you or inform you about things of interest. Most people today read much less than the last generation, but even so whether through texts or E-mail there is still much input. I have only one goal ans that is to steer you to a better relationship with God than you currently have. I am not judging you or saying in any way that your relationship with God isn't as good as mine or that there is anything wrong with your relationship with God at all. But I am saying that if I offer even a crumb of valuable information concerning the economy of God that you will address it and move on it, whether to dismiss it or to activate the power in it.

I am unafraid to deal with serious matters and sometimes the words are cutting or heavy or helpful or nondescript. As with anything you read, you will ultimately decide what to extract and use and what to let go of or discard. But know for a certainty that for most of us, it is in the unveiling of our true self that we find God in the first place and it is in the unraveling of our intentionally woven walls and barriers against the ways of God that make us better and more fruitful.

If you are hardened to change and set like a brick wall on what you hold as truth, you will likely not read anything that moves you or changes your parameters or expands your territory.
