Dispensational Enlightenment 7

"Matthew 24:21-22
21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.     22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

The world will become worse and worse, more wicked, ruthless & against God.  Terror will rein over nation upon nation like never before.  Evil will be released against God and God’s people like never before.  Every medium of communication will become more vile and wicked as each day moves forward.  Corruption, deceit, crime, lying, cheating, meanness and terror will increase faster than it can be curtailed and if not for the swift return of Jesus Christ, no flesh would be saved.

But God.  But God has determined when the end of this age will be: not based on the evil that is being brought forth
not because terrorist are standing against God and His people
not because Islam is growing and God is afraid that Islam will take over the world
not because the antichrist is coming
not because Israel is in trouble
not because much of America has turned its back on God
God has determined the appointed times because He is God.
All else fits into God’s plan.
God does not fit into the plans of the terrorist.
God is not moved by all the efforts of all the evil on the earth.
The evil upon the earth is moved against God and working its hardest to gain ground before God puts an end to the madness.

God is in control of His plan.
Nothing can stop it, change it, speed it up or slow it down.  All of life fits into the plan of God.

I said all that to say this.   God is pouring out His Spirit on His people, and you need to receive what God is doing.
God is:
increasing your faith by leaps and bounds.
multiplying the work of the hands of His people
advancing His people in wisdom and power and authority
escalating your spiritual ability to receive truth and revelation.

There has been no other time in all history where God poured out His Spirit like He is pouring out His Spirit right now."

Dispensational Enlightenment 8

"If you have the faith to believe to receive, you can receive anything from God in these times.  If you are waiting on a ministry, you are probably being disobedient, because God has done more to prepare you in this one year than in all the years of your life put together.

You are to wait on the Lord, but it has become a cliche more than an act of obedience for people in these times.  Wait on your healing, Yes, but don’t wait on your faith to be healed.

Wait on the Lord for direction, Yes, but not twenty years, not ten years, not five years, no, right now.  God has already given you and me direction for your life.  God has already given each of us a call to follow Him.

Am I saying to jump ahead of God and start into something without the express agreement of God?  No way.  But hear me closely.  God is pouring out more of His Spirit today than ever before and it is this Spirit that grows us spiritually.  It is this Spirit that increases your faith and causes you to believe what we once only thought might be a possibility.

Now let’s take this prophetic truth and let it revive you in the inner man.

I want to talk about stepping from one place to another:
Where we are today in our relationship with God, to where we can be in
What we are able to access from God today, to what is available to access from God.
What we are able to see with your spiritual vision today, to what God is revealing in these last days.

The extent of your authority over principalities and powers today, to what is available to the consecrated believer.

What you are able to believe without doubting to believing without doubting.

What you have faith to receive from God today, to what our faith is able to receive.

But there’s more - let your spirit receive this:
What you are able to not receive from God and yet have your faith increase.
What you are able to not see, not have revealed, not understand and yet increase your faith.

Here the Word of the Lord:
John 20:26b-29
“...Peace be with you.
V27 Then saith He to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into My side: and be not faithless, but believing.

V28 And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and My God.
V29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen
Me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

I want to talk about stepping from one place, one faith, one glory - to another:

Are you ready:

The higher things of God have nothing to do with the things on this earth.

Seeking God is a higher calling than seeking something from God.

God is not moved by the people who are constantly testing Him and questioning His plan.

God is moved more by one “Yes”, from anyone, than by all the promises and excuses that others make in their entire lifetime.

God is pouring out His Spirit and He wants to take you from where you are to that next place, but God can only do this with your express permission and cooperation.

Dispensational Enlightenment 6

"Have you ever wondered why God would pour out His Spirit in the last days?  It is simple.  God knows, that without an outpouring of His Spirit, at the end of the age, even the very elect themselves would lose faith and tremble at the works
of darkness.

Go with me to 2 Timothy 3:1-13
“1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
10But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,       11Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Without the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in these times, we would completely annihilate ourselves. Are you seeing what is going on around the world?

Dispensational Enlightenment 5

"This prophetic language provides insight as to where we are in God’s time line.

Hebrews 9:24-26
“For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us.:
V25Nor yet that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
V26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.”

The writer of Hebrews has a clean understanding, that the dispensation of grace, that the writer was living in, was also the same dispensation of time before the end of the age.

We are nearing the year 6,000 since time was recorded.

And we believe (based on the apostles writings and the testimony of Jesus) that the resurrection of Jesus Christ was the beginning of the dispensation of grace - the end of the age.

Up until the resurrection of Jesus 5 previous dispensations of time passed, covering approximately 4,000 years.
1st    Edenic covenant or dispensation
2nd   Adamic or conscience dispensation
3rd   Noahic or human government dispensation
4th   The Abrahamic covenant
5th   Mosaic or the law covenant
6th   Grace
And the 7th, where we are headed, is the kingdom age.
The previous 5 covenants took around 4,000 years of human history.  We are in the dispensation of grace and its been nearly 2,000 years since the beginning of the dispensation of grace.

The dispensation of grace has taken about 1/3 of recorded time, whereas the previous 5 dispensations took only 2/3's.
We are at the end of the age of grace.

God is pouring out His Spirit upon us like never before in all history.  We need to receive this once in all creation blessing.  This is not a once in a lifetime thing, or once in a century, or once in a millennium, this is a once in all creation thing.

If you ignore so great a time as this, you have not seen, nor do you understand what God is doing, not only globally, but in your own life as well.

Dispensational Enlightenment 4

"The second and third question is answered in Matthew 24:3-13, but the best decryption of when Jesus is going to return is found in Luke 21:25-27.  Luke 21:25-27

“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars, and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
V26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after
those things which are coming on the earth: for the power of heaven shall be shaken.
V27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great joy.”

The third question, “When will be the end of the world”, i.e., the end of the age, is best answered in Matthew 24:4-13
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
V5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
V6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
V7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
V8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
V9 then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for My name’s sake.
V10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
V11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
V12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
V13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
V14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

Take special note of V12, “And because iniquity shall abound,...”
This is a key verse for the time we live in.  Iniquity shall abound.

The worst possible kinds of evil are openly practiced, not only across the world, but right here in our country and our city.  Wicked, evil, vile, abominable behavior, of all kinds, is not only tolerated, but in many cases, protected by law.  There has always been iniquity, but not like what has been unleashed in our generation.  We are at the end of the age."

Dispensational Enlightenment 3

"Example:
Do you remember a time when you did not know Christ?
Do you have the same power and authority over your life that you had then?

Since you came to a personal relationship with Christ, has your faith increased?

Recently, have you learned or received from God new truths or revelation that has helped you develop a better understanding of yourself and increase your faith?

OK.  God is pouring out His Spirit in these last days.

For those who don’t think it is the last days or for those who just haven’t given it much thought, that’s OK, but God’s foreordained timetable for the length of years that He intends to allow mankind to function under this current dispensation (the dispensation of grace) is coming to an end.

And at this end of the age or the completion of the dispensation of grace, there will be an escalation of sorts.  Everything will increase, multiply, advance, escalate at rapid rates, more rapid than any other time in all history.  The close - or the end of the age will be ushered in by God, very, very fast.

CI Scofield, in his commentary on Matthew, chapter 24 says it like this: “All (referring to all scripture references concerning the end of the age) - “All that has characterized the age gathers into an awful intensity at the end.” (i.e., the end of the age).

Technology is advancing so rapidly that it cannot even be tracked.  As soon as you think you are up-to-date, you find out that there is faster and better available, somewhere.

This ultra-rapid pace, in a spiritually declining world, is what God prophesied would happen at the end of the age.  There is an end of the age and it is accurately exampled in Matthew 24:3-14 and paralleled in Luke 21.

Read Matthew 24:3
“And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be?  And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?”

Jesus addresses three issues here:

1    The end, i.e., the destruction of Jerusalem (that took place in AD 70)
2     The sign of the coming of the Lord, Jesus
3     The end of the world (age)

Luke better records the answer to the first question, “When will Jerusalem be destroyed?” and that is found in Luke 21:20-24
“And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
V21 Then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are i the countries enter thereinto.
V22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
V23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days!  For there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
V24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.”  The times of the Gentiles was not fulfilled until 1948.

Dispensational Enlightment 2

Now, in our every day experience - Each of us have a relationship with God, however deep or however shallow, we have a relationship with God, the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  The quality of that relationship is based on your overall experience with God.

In whatever state (of awareness, understanding, faith, belief) (your current experience) you are in, you have full - access, vision, authority, provision & protection that, that state (of awareness, understanding, faith, belief) (your current experience) provides.

Each time you receive new truth - revelation or understanding, your faith is increased, so that  - you have full - access, vision, authority, provision & protection within the new parameters that the new truth - revelation or understanding provides.

Think of it this way: With the education, skills, talent, understanding, faith and belief that you have today - you can access whatever is available within those parameters.

As you expand your horizons and increase your education, skills, talent, understanding, faith and belief, you can access whatever is available within those parameters.

Just as there are more options for (employment, investments, opportunities & choices for those with more education, skills & talent there are more options for (wisdom, healing, faithfulness & answered prayer) for those with greater understanding, greater faith and deeper belief).

Don’t get this mixed up.
You are not going to get more saved than you are right now.  This is not about intellect.  “The smarter people get more of God.”  That isn’t true.
This is not about works, as if by working you could achieve or receive salvation.  That isn’t true.

This is about moving forward with God and becoming as close and intimate as possible with God. It is about understanding, that, only by growing in Christ can you move forward and enjoy more of what God has available."

Dispensational Enlightenment

God Thinking teaches you to be under the spout where the glory is poured out.  And right now, God is pouring out His Spirit and taking you from one faith to another and from one glory to another, truth by truth, precept upon precept.

Remember we talked about ‘the outer court’ - ‘the inner court’ - and ‘the Holy of Holies’? At each of these places, there is everything you need to be there. Each place has all the components within its sphere to fully operate under its premise/authority.

When you are in the outer court, you cannot see in the inner court, nor can you see in the Holy of Holies - but you have full access/vision/authority/provision/protection that the outer  court, you are in, provides.

When you are in the inner court, you cannot see in the holy of holies - but you have full access, vision, authority, provision & protection that the inner court, you are in, provides.

In the inner court there is more revelation than in the outer court, because you are closer to the things of God when you are in the inner court.

When you are in the Holy of Holies, you have full access, vision, authority, provision & protection that the Holy of Holies  provides.  In the Holy of Holies, there is more revelation than in the outer court or the inner court, because you are closer to the things of God when you are in the Holy of Holies. These are three places that represent the relationship between God and man, when man is moving toward a closer relationship with God."

Inner Peace 5

"Are you ready to receive the peace of God on your life?

There’s more.
2 Thessalonians 3:16
“Now the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always by all means.  The Lord be with you all.

James 3:17-18
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
V18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them  that make peace.”

The wisdom that is from above is from God.  This wisdom is for you.  The peace of God is for you.

There’s one more verse.  Receive this truth once and for all.
Let it sink into your soul.

Romans 5:1
“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

God is at peace with you and God has revealed how he wants you to be a peace with Him and with yourself.

From the day the Christ child was born until today, God has been preparing you to receive His peace.  Before the worlds were framed, God planned for you to be a peace with Him.

Are you ready to receive the peace of God in your life?
This peace passes all understanding.  You simply trust God.
God supplies it - you receive it.

Honor the Word of God today and believe this most important truth about peace.  Can you sense in your spirit this call to receive the peace of God?

Inner Peace 4

"Jesus lives so that you can have peace with God.

In the midst of this season in your life, Jesus says:
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”  John 14:27

Do you think that just maybe Jesus is talking to you?

I was talking to God early this week.
I asked so many questions.  You know - the kind that you ask - and then before God answers your first question - your on to the next question.

And what started out as a quiet time with God - where I was planning on climbing up to the next level as if I could touch heaven - became a whining session for me.  I was simply stuck in the muck.  I never did hear from God that day.

I wrote a sermon this week, after not hearing from God, during that time when I was stuck in the muck. It took all week, until Friday to get it done.
It was just right for the fifteenth century England.

I’m thankful we have tomorrows - because I might still be stuck in the muck and mire - whining to God about totally insignificant issues - had God not brought me into a new day and gave me new light.

There is light that emanates from God.  God is at peace with you.  Are you at peace with God?

Of all that things that you worry about, there is one thing that you should not worry about, ever. There is the one question that you I need to ask yourself. Am I at peace with God?

Before the world’s were created and before mankind was created, God prepared a plan.  You were in it.  And you were at peace with what God planned? Are you at peace with God?"

Inner Peace 3

"I want you to feel the freedom of having things without any guilt.

That’s right.  No guilt for going to the mall.  No guilt for spending money.  Most of the money that you spend is to meet basic needs or bring joy and happiness to yourself or someone else.

If you are feeling guilt about that - it’s not guilt from God.

God isn’t watching your every move and calculating every penny to see if you are doing it just right.  God isn’t putting His heavy hand on you in attempts to make you feel guilty. God wants you free to move about as you please and at peace in your inner man.

If you hear a voice telling you to be a miser or a voice saying what will so and so think - it’s not God.

God has provided for your bounty.  You need to believe it and live it.  You need to shout with praise and be thankful for every little thing that you have.  It was a gift from God.

There are those who think it’s more spiritual to go around acting like they are spiritual, while talking behind their friends and families back, cutting them down for enjoying the traditional pleasures of lie, and even complaining about children wanting to have new things.

Giving new things to kids is something that God specializes in.

Some people just have a hard time believing that they are supposed to enjoy life - and to have the very best - and to have a good time - and to have plenty of good things.

It’s not God that restrains you from enjoying the fruit of your labor.
It’s not God that keeps you from living life to the fullest.
It’s not God that makes you feel guilty for spending your own money.
Now what does that tell you?

Inner Peace 2

"God loves you and our family.  God is pleased with all that you do to bring joy and happiness into the lives of others.

God is pleased that you have things.  God has provided you and every resource you have and the ability to receive even more.  God wants this to be the very best year of your life.

You are at liberty to enjoy yourself.  You are free to come and go as you please.  You are free to spend your money as you see fit.  You are to have dominion over the things of the earth - not the other way around.

Be happy.  Be joyful.  Be blessed.  Some of you must be thinking, am I hearing things?  No.  This is the truth. Don’t allow anyone to steal your joy of having what you have. Part of experiencing inner peace is fully understanding your rights in Christ. So much emphasis has been put on duty, obligation, sharing and giving that many people have been worn down to believe that if they have things they need to hide them. Oh how we have been duped.

It is not Jesus that is making you feel guilty that you don't have it as bad as the next guy/girl. It is not a god thing to wallow in the mire."

Inner Peace 1

"John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Do you think that just maybe Jesus is talking to you?

When it seems like everything is running at full speed, everyone I talk to doesn’t have time to talk.
There’s not enough time.
There’s not enough money.
There’s not enough help around the house.
Everybody is too busy.

Is it that time of year that you hustle it all together so that somehow - you can sit back and rest and enjoy the reason for the year.

That is not God’s best for you.  Pushing everyday to the max - to try and do in 20 days - what should take 40 days is not God’s plan.
But God understands.
God is not mad at you for going shopping.
God is not mad at you for trying to do too much.
God is not angry at you for buying things.
God is not angry with you for shopping and planning and partying.

As a matter of fact, God is not angry with you at all.
God knows you want everything to be just right.
God knows how much your kids mean to you.
God knows you want your house to look its best.
God knows you are going to try to do more than you possibly can.
God knew, long before today, how busy you would be this year.

But you need to understand and believe in your heart that God is not angry at you."

Walking In The Spirit 2

"Your flesh is at battle with your spirit - and to win the battle with your flesh you must make choices that reflect what God, the Holy Spirit is leading you to do.

Again, God designed you to have free will.  Free will to draw closer to God and free will to draw away or drift away from God.  It is within the boundaries of this free will where the decisions are made that prove whether you have listened and performed the will of God or listened and not performed the will of God.

Stay with me, because this truth understood is a must if you are to live holy.

I’m not wanting to take issue with anyone who does not desire to live holy.  If you want to be taught week after week, year after year, but you have not made up your mind to be holy - this message is not for you.

People who walk in the spirit are those who are drawing closer to God.  Did you notice I didn’t say, ‘Those who are perfect are walking in the spirit’ or those who hold a title in the church can walk in the spirit,’ or those who have made no mistakes can walk in the spirit.’  No, people who walk in the spirit are those who are drawing closer to God.

People who let their flesh think for them are those who are drawing or drifting away from God.

Listen carefully before I move on.  There are those who have
convinced themselves that they are walking in the spirit while fulfilling the desires of the flesh*.  They are deceived.  They are convinced that they can continue to do things with their flesh that God has said no to in their spirit.  This is dangerous ground."

* Desires of the flesh. Please do not confuse the everyday pleasures that God has provided for you with the context of "desires of the flesh." "Desires of the flesh" as used here is referring to the premeditated thoughts and actions unencumbered by good sense and personal morays; those things that when you plan them or do them, you are certain they do not meet with your own personal understanding of being godly, but you do them anyway. "Desires of the flesh" refers to a blatant irresponsible attitude that does not include discussion with God prior to making a decision to go forward with things that you internally already understand is not godly, nor is it good for yourself or others due to the irreparable damage that it causes, directly or indirectly due to the action.

One of the reasons that they think they can live this way is because the church has been soft on sin, tolerating all kinds of ungodly behavior, afraid to stand for the purity of God’s Word because the church has fear of losing parishioners.

There are those who might get their back up and move on if their sin is not first (kept hidden) and then tolerated.  Many people today want the church to approve and/or ignore their sin.  Rather than choosing to be loosed from it they want to be left alone to continue in it.

That leaves us with the question, Is it your intent to Walk in the Spirit?
