Not The Wait Word? 1

What do you do when you cannot sense the presence of God?

When you cannot hear the voice of God?

When you cannot get confirmation?

When your mind is racing or aloof and you just can’t focus?

When you try to pray and you just can’t get a handle on the answer, as a matter of fact you forgot the question?

There are times when you feel alone.
There are times when you are uncontrollably sad.
There are times when you feel depressed.
There are times when you feel abandoned.
There are times when you feel helpless.

If you are human, you have gone through or are going through some of these responses to your humanness.

Life isn’t always mountain-top experiences.
You are not always feeling happy and fulfilled.
There are valleys and some of them seem more like crevices.

In these empty times - and we all have them - You need to know how to deal with them so that they don’t take you further than you want to go.

The way you deal with each of these negative responses (in your mind) determines how much doubt can be generated  and how far that doubt can take you from your faith.

Your faith is fragile and when you find yourself in these kind of negative predicaments, you need the right tool to get out without harm.

When I say without harm - It’s in these down times that you make foolish mistakes and say foolish things.

It’s during these down times that you turn to the flesh to see you through - because the flesh will go along with you when things are down - the flesh will make you feel good when things aren’t going right.  Believe me when I say - The flesh will go along with anything

But in the flesh there will be no satisfaction of any predicaments - and never any long term satisfaction.

The flesh will only go along with you just long enough to satisfied itself.

The bible says “...the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”  Matthew 26:41"
