God Thinking XV - Train Your Mind to Think God Thoughts 7

"Remember how Paul was evangelized.  Paul was true to his religion.  He believed fervently that to destroy Christians was the honorable way to serve God.  Was he right? No.  He believed a lie.  He believed what religion was teaching at the time.  He forsook the Word in lieu of religious security, security of being with the most influential group at the time.  How did God get Paul’s attention?  He knocked him down and blinded him for a time.  Paul had no choice but to be led by others for a time.  Paul believed a lie.  He acted upon it.  His entire experience with God had been built on a lie.

Had he not had the Damascus road experience and heard the voice of Jesus, he would have continued on his path throughout his life.

Note: I can say for certainty that you have also at one time or another been knocked off your horse to get you attention. No one will be able to say in the end, 'God did not ever come to me.' Just because a person doesn't respond doesn't mean that God did not call them.

Another example is found in Jeremiah 28:15-17
“Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; the LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie. V16 Therefore thus saith the LORD; I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD. V17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.”

When you trust in a lie or an untruth, something not ordained by God, you run the risk of missing God’s intent for you.
You run the risk of:
  • Mapping out your own design.
  • Making a plan that God cannot sanctify.
  • Starting a business that God does not bless.
  • Marrying a man or woman without God’s approval.
  • Hanging with people that worship God in vain.
  • Making our own rules and regulations that take away from the freedom we have in Christ., burdening others with our own personal biases, bents and idiosyncrasies .
Do you really believe that is what God wants for you?"

God Thinking XV - Train Your Mind to Think God Thoughts 6

"2     The other reason why there is so much rebellion when we talk about doing those things that please God is because they believe a lie.

Just a couple of examples:
Remember when Peter was in the presence of Jesus and Peter was talking about what he would do for Jesus.
Let’s listen to the scripture.

Mark 14:26-31
“And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. V27 And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the Shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered. V28 But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee. V29 But Peter said unto Him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I. V30 And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. V31 But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise.  Likewise also said they all.”

Jesus just got finished telling them what scripture saith, “All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the Shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.”
And again Jesus said, “Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.”

Peter believed a lie instead of the Master’s voice.  He believed what he had told himself instead of what Jesus told him.  There’s a lot of that going on today.  People are making up their mind based on what’s in their mind instead of what God is saying in their mind.

God Thinking XV - Train Your Mind to Think God Thoughts 5

"God designed it all.  God is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
God has revealed a plan and a purpose for your life. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”  Romans 8:28

Why is there so much rebellion when we talk about doing those things that please God. We have in our society today an entire constituency of those who claim Christ but they have no desire to follow Christ - no inner inclination to follow God’s design for their lives and no plans to get started.

There’s a couple of reasons why there is so much rebellion.
1     They believe in vain or
2     They believe a lie
1 Corinthians 15:1-2, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; V2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.”

Matthew 15:8-9
“This people draweth nigh unto Me with their mouth, and honoureth Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me.
V9 But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”

It is interesting; this word vain means to, (manipulate to no purpose, an unsuccessful search).  “In vain they do worship Me” - They manipulate me to no purpose and cannot find me.

Some people believe in vain because they have been taught to believe in vain or they have established their own god and worship him.  It is easier that way.  One look at world religion as a whole and you can see clearly that many people worship God in vain."

God Thinking XV - Train Your Mind to Think God Thoughts 4

For the saved the Word reveals to you a holy God, full of love and concern for His creation. It shows you the way, the truth and the life.
It reveals to you the most profound truths ever thought. God designed His Word for anyone and everyone who will believe it.

But for the born again believer, the one to whom is given the indwelling Holy Spirit, the Word is full of easy to understand, powerful, life changing truths.

God speaks to you through His Word.
God reveals His design for your life.
God reveals Himself openly and unobstructed.
God reveals who you are in Christ.
God tells you the things that matter in life.
God shows you what to believe.
God tells you how to receive faith.
God tells you how to be faithful.
God teaches you what is pure and true, honest and just, what is lovely.
God shows you how to be kind, and how to be gentle, how to live by faith and how to stay healthy.

God gives you example after example of how to treat one another, how to be humble, how to love others, how to give and how much to give.

God reveals the beginning, the time you now live in and the future.  God reveals it all.  God thinking gets your mind in line with God’s Word so that what God has said becomes what you believe and what you believe is what God has said."

God Thinking XV - Train Your Mind to Think God Thoughts 3

"You want God to speak to you and reveal high and lofty thoughts of the divine.

You want to open your Bible and discover new truths; not new as in never discovered:
but new to you - new to your mind
new to your heart - new to your spirit.

It’s not that God hasn’t revealed it all in His Logos (the written Word) and by His Ramah (the spoken Word).
It’s not that God hasn’t prepared you for receiving His truth.
It’s not that you aren’t capable of understanding all that God has for you.
It’s that you haven’t received it all.
You haven’t received all that God intends to reveal to you.

God designed His Word to quicken the spirit of man.  For the lost and for the saved.

For the lost the Word reveals to them a holy God, full of love and concern for His creation.  It shows them they way, the truth and the life.
It reveals the most profound truth ever thought: “That God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16

God draws men and women, teens and children to Himself by revelation of Himself.  You were drawn to God by the power of His Word.

“No man can cometh to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw Him: and I will raise him up at the last day. V45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God.  Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto Me.”  John 6:44-45

God Thinking XV - Train Your Mind to Think God Thoughts 2

"God Thinking comes from hearing God thoughts, hearing pure speech, hearing kind words; believing words, words that build up, words that lift up, words that bless, words that encourage, words that inspire, words that forgive, words that empower.

What do you think God thinking produces?
God designed actions, pure speech, kindness, unwavering belief, healthy bodies, clean minds, pure thoughts, things that are true, things that are honest, things that are just, things that are lovely.

God thinking produces fruit.  And the kind of fruit that God thinking produces is the God kind of fruit.  Hear the word of Jesus as He reveals the parable of the sower.  The parable was really about what happened to those who received the Word.

Matthew 13:18-23
“Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
V19 When anyone heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart.  This is he which received seed by the way side.
V20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon (at once) with joy receiveth it;
V21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
V22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
V23 But he that received seed into good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

God thinking produces fruit.  Truly when you understand the Word, your mind and your heart is opened up. .
You do things you never thought you would do.
You go places you never thought you would go.
You say things you never thought you would say.
Because when the Word of God is opened up by revelation to your mind and to your heart, you want to respond."

God Thinking XV - Train Your Mind to Think God Thoughts 1

"Can I say something bold?  Paul is not the only writer in the New Testament.  And Paul is not the only writer of the books of the Bible.  And Paul is not the author of the scriptures.  God is the author of the scriptures of which Paul was permitted by God to write as led by the Holy Spirit.

The books written by Paul are of no more importance or less importance than any other book of the Bible.
Note: Some denominations prefer Paul's writing to others to determine their church doctrine or polity.  Paul would be angry at such arrogance and ignorance.  Paul is fist to admit that of all apostle he is least 1 Co. 15:9 and Eph. 3:8.  People need to justify their position and what I have found is that they will do or say anything to do just that.

The Word of God was not meant to be divided, at all.  It was meant and is meant to be whole and intact. It was and is the Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelation.  No one book, nor one writer has precedence above another, for if it were true, then part of what God has to say would be more important than another part of what God has to say.  God is not divided and His whole Word is of equal value.  “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: V17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”  2 Timothy 3:16-17

God thinking believes the whole Word of God. (Period)
We find what we need to live unto God in the whole of scripture. (Period)

I say this because even Paul himself could see what was happening to some of the people that were around him at the time of his ministry, “Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.  V13 Is Christ divided?  Was Paul crucified for
you?  Or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 1Co. 1:12-13
And of course the answer is, NO.  Jesus is our all in all and the entire text of scripture points to Jesus.  I apologize to no one for believing, trusting, teaching and preaching the whole Word of God

God thinking is about trusting the whole Word of God.  God thinking is about thinking God thoughts.  God thoughts that build up and encourage; thoughts that inspire, thoughts that transcend our emotions, thoughts that forgive, thoughts that empower.

God Thinking XIV - That Next Place 10

"Ephesians 6:10-17
V18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

My God, this is a call to you.
This is a call for men and women of faith.
This is for those who want more of God and less of everything else, more than blessings, more than prosperity, more than deliverance, more than healing, more than anything.

This is for those who want to be locked in a prayer closet with God.
God has the key, but you can get out any time you want to, but you don’t want to.
God hears your every word and God speaks a Word to you.  You go in with questions and complaints and you come out with answers and a gift.
No one leaves the presence of God without a word and a gift.

After you have been in this place.
You always want to go back again.
God purifies your everyday experience.
You think about the holiness of God.
You ponder high and lofty thoughts and contemplate your next encounter with the Almighty?
You lose your desire for the empty promises of this world?

God’s grace becomes sufficient for you.
You come away with something you didn’t go there with?
You get the answers we are looking for.

1 Timothy 2:1
“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men:”

God Thinking XIV - That Next Place 9

"I want you to get a feel for the language that gets men and women in this place behind the veil.  I know this is a lot of scripture at one time, but it is worth the read.

1 Kings 8:22-60 And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven:
V23 and he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:
V30 And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive.
V37 If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpillar; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, what soever sickness there be;
V38 What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:
V39 Then hear from heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of the children of men;)
V49 Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause,
V50And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them:
V51 For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:
V52 That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee.
V54 And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.
V59 And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our god day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of His people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:
V60 That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else.

1 Kings 9:3a
“And the LORD appeared to Solomon the second time, as He appeared unto him in Gibeon.
V3 And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before Me...”

Psalm 30:1-8
“I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
V2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
V3 O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
V4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.
V5 For His anger endureth but a moment; in His favour is life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
V6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
V7 LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong; thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
V8 I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication”

Psalm 55:1-2
“Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.
V2 Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint and make noise.”

Psalm 142:1-2
“I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.
V2 I poured out my complaint before Him; I shewed Him my trouble.”

Daniel 6:10-11
“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being opened in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
V11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.”

Daniel 9:17-22
“Now, therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord’s sake
V18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
V19 O LORD, hear; O LORD, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, On my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.
V20 And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain
of my God;

V21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
V22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.”

Acts 1:10-14
“And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
V11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?  This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
V12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a Sabbath days journey.
V13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
V14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brethren.”

Ten days they sought the mind of God.  Ten days in prayer until they received their answers. Are you willing to go there?

God Thinking XIV - That Next Place 8

"You want to know how to get into this place,  in the presence of God, in the inner court, the holy of holies, that place where God is God and you are in Him; the place can be anywhere, but you get into this place by supplication.

I asked God, can’t you give me a better buzz word than supplication? And God said to me, “ you want a better word than, “the place where you go in the spirit and stay there,  bound together with Me, until the urgent requests that are on your heart have all been thoroughly dealt with and the answers you need have all been thoroughly revealed, the place where you come wanting and leave filled?”  “You want a different word?”
Forgive me LORD.  For I am foolish and proud.  No I don’t want a different word. Supplication is that word.

Supplication is a complex word and comes from a combination of five Greek words, that simply mean: “the place where you go in the spirit and stay there,  bound together with God, until the urgent requests that are on your heart have all been thoroughly dealt with and the answers you need have all been thoroughly revealed, the place where you come wanting and leave filled?”

Supplication is used 60 times in the old and new testament.
Almost everyone who came into the presence of God, came via supplication:  Moses, David, Solomon, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Daniel, Ezekiel, Peter, Paul, You and I come into this special place by supplication.

There’s not a lot of talk about supplication because supplication takes effort. Supplication means travail and patience, sweat and tears.  Supplication means finding time  to go to God, not setting time limits for how long God is permitted to commune with you.

Supplication means setting aside your plans just long enough to discuss them with the plan Maker.

It may take only seconds, it may take hours, it may take longer, but nobody rushes God behind the veil.

When you go there, supper had better already be made or it might not get made.

When you go there, you turn off your mobile phones.

When you go there, you go with reverence and awe.

But you and I were made for such a time as this.  You were created to be in this place and be emptied of self and full of God."

God Thinking XIV - That Next Place 7

"If you want an inner court experience that takes you behind the veil, in the very presence of God, you will have to bring your faith, seek God diligently, present yourself to Him, without reservation, and be prepared to commune with Him in awe.

Do you want to go there?
1     You will have to be prepared to be changed.
2     You will have to abandon your pre-conceived idea of  what you will  receive from God.
3     You will have to accept what God gives to you.
4     You will have to accept what God tells you when you are there.

4    You will have to accept what God tells you when you are there.

God knows your dreams.
God knows your heart.
God has a word for you.
God has your answers, everyone.
But not every word from God is one you want to hear.

If you have created a religion for yourself that has been demanding from God for so long, that the idea that God would do something  contrary to your desires and wants has  been completely eradicated from your thinking.

If you want a - rub the lamp three times - give me my wishes genie, that gets in the bottle and leaves you alone when you are finished with him.

You are going to be very disappointed.

If you want to go to that next place, in the presence of God, in the inner court, the holy of holies, that place where God is God and you are in Him, this place where you lose your own ego long enough to receive God’s very best for you.

You will have to accept what God tells you when you are there.
Listen carefully:
You get into God’s presence when you read the scriptures.
You get into God’s presence when you share your faith.
You get into God’s presence when you worship.
You get into God’s presence when you praise.
You get into God’s presence when you pray.
You get into God’s in the presence, in the inner court, the holy of holies, that place where God is God and you are in Him, this place where you lose your own ego long enough to receive God’s very best for you - when you supplicate.

Remember I said this message was for those who want to experience God in the most intimate way possible.

You want to know how to get into this place,  in the presence of God, in the inner court, the holy of holies, that place where God is God and you are in Him; the place can be anywhere, but you get into this place by supplication.

Note: I hope I didn't lose your interest. "Wow," you say, "that's too demanding for me."  Sometimes the things of God come off as too religious sounding or too heavy or too demanding and what you really want is simple and easy.  Believe me when I say that God is not making this complicated, We/I am.  It's just that in modernity the average person has been indoctrinated into a complex, religious, rigorous, complicated, cumbersome and demanding, usually denominational relationship with God. God prefers simple and uncomplicated and supplication certainly fits that scenario.  But to get there, (simple and uncomplicated) there needs to be a personal relationship based on instruction from God, not man. That is what I am attempting to do in this blog; steer the reader to a simple and personal relationship with God.

God Thinking XIV - That Next Place 6

"If you want an inner court experience that takes you behind the veil, in the very presence of God, you will have to bring your faith, seek God diligently, present yourself to Him, without reservation, and be prepared to commune with Him in awe.

Do you want to go there?

3     You will have to accept what God gives to you.
4     You will have to accept what God tells you when you are there.

3     We will have to accept what God gives to you.

When you leave this place, having been there is enough.  But  God will ask, “when are you coming back?  I have more to give you.”

I know that some of you are thinking, “I’ll bet this is another ploy to get me to be more holy or be a better person, or to learn to live with what I have, or to be better to my wife or husband or somehow he is going to fit in giving more to the church.”

I’m sorry to let you down.  I want to take you to this place where it is all consumed by God.

I hear another voice, “but you don’t understand what I’m going through.”
“I’m mad at God, He has not been there for me.”
“He hasn’t healed me.”
“He hasn’t blessed me financially and I’ve been tithing for years.”
“He hasn’t saved my kids.”

I’m here to tell you without any doubt that the moment you get into the presence of God, in the inner court, the holy of holies, that place where God is God and you are in Him, you won’t speak another word about your circumstances, because you are going to come out of His presence, not as concerned as we were going in.  The things that mattered going in are consumed by God and He has something to give you."

Note: There are only two books that I have read that speak clearly on this subject; The Holy of Holies by A. W. Tozer and The Secrets of The Secret Place by Bob Sorge

God Thinking XIV - That Next Place 5

"If you want an inner court experience that takes you behind the veil, in the very presence of God, you will have to bring your faith, seek God diligently, present yourself to Him, without reservation, and be prepared to commune with Him in awe.
Do you want to go there?

3     You will have to accept what God gives to you.

2     We will have to abandon our pre-conceived idea of what we will receive from God.

God doesn’t want you coming into His presence having it all figured out, nor does He want you coming into His presence with pre-conceived ideas of what you will receive.

Don’t get me wrong, if we were talking about prayer, we have every right to pray in faith believing with expectation that we will receive what God reveals to us that we should have.

But this place, this inner court, this holy of holies, this place where you present yourself to God, with no agenda - This place where you say not my will, but thine and mean it - This place where you give it all up.

You don’t come away from this place disappointed.
You don’t come away from this place empty handed.
You don’t come away from this place with questions.
You don’t come away from this place seeking something else.
You don’t come away from this place not quite sure if it were God.
You don’t come away from this place the same person as you went.

God has a way of dealing with pre-conceived ideas.  He shows you the results of what you want and then holds up the results of what He wants you to want.  Which one would you want?  God says, think it up and bring it to me and I will show you what it looks like with God in it."

God Thinking XIV - That Next Place 4

"If you want an inner court experience that takes you behind the veil, in the very presence of God, you will have to bring your faith, seek God diligently, present yourself to Him, without reservation, and be prepared to commune with Him in awe.
Do you want to go there?
1     You will have to be prepared to be changed.
2   You will have to abandon your pre-conceived idea of  what you will receive from God.
3     You will have to accept what God gives to you.
4     You will have to accept what God tells you when you are there.

Note: Being in the presence of God is always beneficial, but not always pleasant.  Don't expect everything to go your way or that every answer that you will get will be, 'yes my son, as you wish.' God is not a genie in a bottle and you are a creation in desperate need of being perfected and only God can do that. If your expectations are to go to God and set the record straight as to who is really in charge in your life, you will be greatly disappointed. What God tells you, if you have an open mind and heart, might break your heart. If you cannot face the truth about yourself, don't commune with God.

1     You will have to be prepared to be changed.
Some people think they are communing with God; but there is no evidence that they are being changed.  They think they have been in the inner chamber, the Holy of Holies, but when they come out there’s no Shekinah glory, no brokenness, no proof written across their face.  No evidence of having been with God; no word from God, no direction, no promise, no power.

My God, if you are not changed - you haven’t been there."

God Thinking XIV - That Next Place 3

"James 4:8
“Draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh unto you...”

John 4:23-24
“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him,
V24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must Worship Him in spirit and truth.”

Collosians 3:1
“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.”

When you are there, (that place where you consciously bring your self) it can be as good or as delightful or as powerful as you allow it to be:
based on the circumstances of the moment
the ambiance of the place you are at
the type of communication you are looking for at the time
how much time you intend to spend in the presence of God
what you are seeking
mixed with your blood sugar level, your mental state, your measure of faith and your knowledge base.

When you read the scriptures.
Share your faith - Worship - Praise or Pray
You set conditions and time constraints and there are distractions and a multitude of other components that may or may not interfere with your moments with God.

All of this is because you are in the world, and the world is full of demonic activity, wickedness, noise & evil of every sort.

It seems like an impossible task, to get in a place with God where you can dwell in Him and bask in His glory.

Here’s why.

Even though God is always present, you are not always in His presence, because you are not always presenting yourself to God.  God is always presenting Himself to you, but you are not always presenting yourself to Him."
