God Thinking XCI - Meology 7

"Don’t be duped.  Entire generations have come and gone having taken God lightly, staking their eternity on foolish and unsubstantiated opinions.

At some point in time, you will have to reconcile what you are believing against the Word of God.

Be hopeful, today is the day of salvation.
Today is the day of the Lord.
Hebrews 3:8, “ 8.  Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

There are too many Christians running around acting out a part.  There is no future and no salvation and no eternity provided for acting out a part.

Let’s see what Jesus has to say about it.

Matthew 15:7-9
7.  Ye hypocrites, (people who say one thing and do another - those playing out a part, but they know inwardly that they are not in agreement with God, God’s Word or God’s ways) well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
 8.  This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
 9.  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Can you worship God in vain?  Yes!  Me-ology rears its head back like a cobra ready to strike at these words while theology softens the heart to allow God to move in and take more ground.
