God Thinking LXXXIV - How To Get From Believing To Receiving 11

"Receiving - Lord, I want to get from believing to receiving.

Matthew 21:22
22.  And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

God wants you abiding in your believing so that you can build up the understanding to believe for the right things.  You can believe for the wrong things.
 26.  “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?...”  Matthew 16:26

You can get and get and get and not be filled:
and not be inspired
and not be satisfied
and not be like Christ.

If you are to receive - it is just as important that you receive the right thing as it is that you receive.

There is less receiving today, because modernity has taken its toll on the godly life.

Fewer people have faith that transforms nothing into something.

Fewer people have the kind of faith that can believe for it today and wait for as long as it takes for it to come to pass.

We aren’t trained in the use of our spirit.  We aren’t challenged to dig deep and fly high.

There’s too much turmoil - clutter - chaos - disquiet - and confusion evading our space.

The world has forced itself on us and our family and we have yielded some of our time and resources to the enemy.

To get it all back and to come into your place with God and to make the jump from believing to receiving, requires allowing your mind to be filled with the things of God.

God thinking is about putting ‘on top’, in your mind, the things of God, and pushing down those things that are not of God until they are pushed out altogether.

Lord, I want to get from believing to receiving.

God gave you the formula.
Hearing
Agreeing
Believing
Abiding
Receiving

Note: I really enjoy creating these messages of hope and advanced lifestyle for the Christina believer.  I would be grateful for some comments.
Thanks, Keith
