God Thinking LXIX - The Dichotomy 9

"Once you experience what God can do when you are cooperating with God, there is no boundary on what God can do in you and through you.

Because once you learn how to get out of the way - not once - not twice, but every time that God provides opportunity - there is no limit to what your faith can produce.

(When you are operating in the flesh - you quit co-operating with God and limit what God can do in you and through you, because God can only operate freely, where He is not restricted by your un-cooperative will or lack of faith.

Scripture teaches that you can quench the Holy Spirit and by doing so you disarm your own ability to access the Holy Spirit and operate in cooperation with God as led by the Holy Spirit.

It’s easy to do - quench the Spirit.
  • Just have it your own way.
  • Just believe whatever you want to.
  • Just passively stand by as all your God given rights are stripped from you by a secular and ungodly government system.
  • Just let your kids do anything they want to.
  • Just keep on ignoring the call of God in your life.
  • Just keep saying that it’s all in God’s timing and that you have no responsibility for your own actions.
  • Just keep seeking after this world’s offers.
  • Just continue to deny your rightful place in God’s economy.
  • Just continue to evade opportunities that God has opened up for you to serve Him.
  • Just continue to talk about all the things that everybody is doing wrong and make a point to shy away from playing any role in their spiritual, emotional, or material development.
When you quench the Spirit, you restrict the work of God in your life, so much so, that what should have taken two years has taken twenty and for some of you will take twenty more.

Hebrews 5:12
 12.  For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat."
