God Thinking XLIX - Practice The Influence Of The Holy Spirit...? 6

"It is the Holy Spirit in you that finishes your creation and makes you whole, perfect, complete, Christ-like, one with God in purpose.

Hear the truth of the matter:

To know a truth and not exercise your self in it, is of itself empty and void.

Just the same, to know a truth and to exercise your self in it, brings about the outcome of that truth.

Therefore, as willing as you are, to allow the Holy Spirit within you, to lead you, so are you equally capable of performing the will of God.

And so also, as unwilling as you are, to allow the Holy Spirit within you, to lead you, so are you equally incapable of performing the will of God.

You need to take note:

Christ desires to be represented to the lost with integrity.  Jesus did not leave it up to your natural man to reveal Himself to the lost.  He sent the Holy Spirit to indwell you to assure accurate representation of Himself.  God knows you cannot do it on your own.

The God of creation gives you the Holy Spirit to indwell you so that you can reveal Christ to others.

It is not true that you must struggle all your life trying to reach some imaginary pinnacle of spirituality that is unreachable. That was a rumor started by satan.

It is written: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

V17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

It’s not true that you must wallow in the mire of despair conquered by your circumstances, year after year.  There is no truth in it.

It is written: “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.”  Romans 8:37

It’s not true that Christ died for you so that you could sin without reparations, (consequences to your actions).  Christ died to remove the penalty for your sin which is eternal separation from God. He arose to defeat satan’s authority in your life, which is your propensity to sin.
And He sent the Holy Spirit to remove your service to sin.
But, if you choose to sin you will partake of the consequences and ramifications of that sin.

It is written: “What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace?  God forbid.
V16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? Romans 6:15-16"
