God Thinking XXXIX - Have You Had Enough Of You Yet? 5

"Draw nigh unto God.  Do you remember when God called Moses up into mount Sinai?  God said, in Exodus 34:2 & 4 “And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to Me in the top of the mount.” and in verse 4 “...and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him...”

Aren’t you glad that Moses went up as God directed him?

Now, for some revelation:
For all those who are saved, God called you to come up unto Him.  God has already drawn you to Himself.  Now, just like with Moses, you need to draw close to Him.

The Holy Spirit indwells you by the quickening of your Spirit?  The Holy Spirit brings with Him the power for your mind and body to abide in Christ, just like your spirit abides in Christ.

When your spirit unites with the Spirit of Christ - Your eternal destiny is initiated.  Your adoption into the kingdom of God is transferred from here to the heavenlies.  You become heirs of God and joint heirs of Christ, but the salvation experience does not bring your body and your mind into subjection to the principles of God for living a godly life and being a good steward of God’s creation.

Because you were made in the image and likeness of God, you have to will your mind and your body to be in unity with the will of God.  That’s why God wants you to draw near, because if you do, you fulfill God’s will, and God can now fulfill your will."
