God Thinking XXXVII - I Challenge You To A Belief Duel 5

"Have you noticed, It doesn’t take much to be an expert today, does it?

My boy went on his first helicopter ride at Hunsaker Farms, (a pumpkin field) years ago.  When he came down, he was so excited.  He began to tell us everything about a helicopter.  Now keep in mind, he couldn’t talk to the pilot, nor could he hear anything except the roar of the engine.

But somehow, on this helicopter ride, he was endowed with infinite wisdom concerning helicopters and their operations.  For the next three days he was telling us all about helicopters.

It is kind of funny in a story like this about a child, but you have Christians going about purporting to be experts about this doctrine or that doctrine without having it substantiated by the Word of God.  They build doctrines on silly and unsubstantiated claims, guessing about how God does this or that, instead of believing what God says and operating in His truths.

Belief and making up your mind about something are synonymous.  Until you make up your mind about something, what you call belief is just guessing.

To receive revelation from God that will help you to know exactly where you are with God, you have to take the way you think, from guessing - to belief.
