God Thinking XV - By Design 1

"Can I say something bold?  Paul is not the only writer in the new testament.  And Paul is not the only writer of the books of the Bible.  And Paul is not the author of the scriptures.

God is the inspirer that chose the authors of the scriptures of which Paul was permitted by God to write as led by the Holy Spirit. The books written by Paul are of no more importance or less importance than any other book of the bible.  The Word of God was not meant to be divided, at all.  It was meant and is meant to be whole and intact. It was and is the Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelation.  No one book, nor one writer has precedence above another, for if it were true, then part of what God has to say would be more important than another part of what God has to say.  God is not divided and His whole Word is of equal value.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: V17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”  2 Timothy 3:16-17

God thinking believes the whole Word of God. (Period)
You find what you need to live unto God in the whole of scripture. (Period)

Note: This is a real problem today.  Denominations, pastors and teachers pick and choose what person they believe is most important or what verse they will build their church on, or what section of the Bible is more important than another, all for nought.  God blesses His Word and His Word is whole and complete, not parceled out to this group or that group.  Many Christians today rest on the little niche they found for themselves that doesn't include this or that and vehemently denies this or that and stands firmly on some little portion or the scriptures that gives them power.  There is no power in silly doctrines of men.

I say this because even Paul himself could see what was happening to some of the people that were around him at the time of his ministry, “Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.  V13 Is Christ divided?  Was Paul crucified for you?  Or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 1Co. 1:12-13

And of course the answer is, NO.  Jesus is our all in all and the entire text of scripture points to Jesus.  I apologize to noone for believing, trusting, teaching and preaching the whole Word of God."
