Thought for the Day 2

"Here the Word of the Lord:  John 20:26b-29
"...Peace be with you.  V27 Then saith He to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into My side: and be not faithless, but believing.  V28 And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and My God.  V29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."

I want to talk about stepping from one place, one faith, one glory - to another.
Are you ready.
  • God is pouring out His Spirit in this (once in creation) era in time.
  • God thinking receives what God is doing (in the moment).
  • As the world becomes more wicked, God pours out more of His Spirit upon His people.
  • Each truth that you allow to become part of you, in your experience, expands your vision and ability to operate in the things of God.
  • The Bible clearly tells you that you are already in the end of the age. To believe it and understand it will help you to receive all that God has for you during this era in time.
Now I want to leave you with five thoughts – God thinking thoughts – thoughts that will take you from one place, (where you are), to another place, (closer to God.)
  • The higher things of God have nothing to do with the things on this earth.
  • Seeking God is a higher calling than seeking something from God.
  • God is not moved by the people who are constantly testing Him and questioning His plan.
  • God is moved more by one "Yes", from anyone, than by all the promises and excuses that others make in their entire lifetime.
  • God is pouring out His Spirit and He wants to take you from where you are to that next place, but God can only do this with your express permission and cooperation.

Thought for the Day 2

"Am I saying to jump ahead of God and start into something without the express agreement of God? No way. But hear me closely. God is pouring out more of His Spirit today than ever before and it is this Spirit that grows us spiritually. It is this Spirit that increases your faith and causes you to believe what you once only thought might be a possibility. Now let's take this prophetic truth and let it revive you in the inner man.

I want to talk about stepping from one place to another:
  • Where you are today in your relationship with God, to where you can be in your relationship with God.
  • What you are able to access from God today, to what is available to access from God.
  • What you are able to see with your spiritual vision today, to what God is revealing in these last days.\
  • The extent of your authority over principalities and powers today, to what is available to the consecrated believer.
  • What you are able to believe without doubting to believing without doubting.
  • What you have faith to receive from God today, to what your faith is able to receive.
But there's more - let your spirit receive this:
  • What you are able to not receive and yet have your faith increase.
  • What you are able to not see, not have revealed, not understand and yet increase your faith.
Let the Spirit of God have you unencumbered by your own preferences."

Thought for the Day 2

"If you have the faith to believe to receive, you can receive anything from God in these times. If you are waiting on a ministry, you are probably being disobedient, because God has done more to prepare you in this one year than in all the years of your life put together.

You are to wait on the Lord, but it has become a cliche more than an act of obedience for people in these times.

Wait on your healing, Yes, but don't wait on your faith to be healed.
Wait on the Lord for direction, Yes, but not twenty years, not ten years, not five years, no, right now.
God has already given you direction for your life. Do it."

Thought for the Day 2

"But God. But God has determined when the end of this age will be:
  • not based on the evil that is being brought forth
  • not because terrorist are standing against God and His people
  • not because Islam is growing and God is afraid that Islam will take over the world
  • not because the antichrist is coming
  • not because Israel is in trouble
  • not because much of America has turned its back on God
God has determined the appointed times because He is God. All else fits into God's plan. God does not fit into the plans of the terrorist. God is not moved by all the efforts of all the evil on the earth. The evil upon the earth is moved against God and working its hardest to gain ground before God puts an end to the madness. But God is in control of His plan. Nothing can stop it, change it, speed it up or slow it down. All of life fits into the plan of God. This truth is essential to real faith.

I said all that to say this. God is pouring out His Spirit on His people, and we need to receive what God is doing. God is:
  • increasing our faith by leaps and bounds
  • multiplying the work of the hands of His people
  • advancing His people in wisdom and power and authority
  • escalating our spiritual ability to receive truth and revelation.
There has been no other time in all history where God poured out His Spirit like He is pouring out His Spirit right now."

Thought for the Day 2

"Without the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in these times, we would completely annihilate ourselves.

Matthew 24:21-22, "21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."

The world will become worse and worse, more wicked, ruthless and against God. Terror will rein over nation upon nation like never before. Evil will be released against God and God's people like never before. Every medium of communication will become more vile and wicked as each day moves forward. Corruption, deceit, crime, lying, cheating, meanness and terror will increase faster than it can be curtailed and if not for the swift return of Jesus Christ, no flesh would be saved."

Thought for the Day 2

"God is pouring out His Spirit upon us like never before. We need to receive this once in all creation blessing. This is not a once in a lifetime thing, or once in a century, or once in a millennium, this is a once in all creation thing. If we ignore so great a time as this, we have not seen, nor do we understand what God is doing, not only globally, but in our own lives as well.

Have you ever wondered why God would pour out His Spirit in the last days? It is simple. God knows, that without an outpouring of His Spirit, at the end of the age, even the very elect themselves would lose faith and tremble at the works of darkness. 2 Timothy 3:1-13, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was. 10But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."

Thought for the Day 2

"The previous five covenants (Edenic, Adamic, Noahic, Abrhamic, Mosaic) took place during approximately four thousand years of human history.  We are in the dispensation of grace and it’s been nearly two thousand years since the beginning of the dispensation of grace.  The dispensation of grace has taken about one-third of recorded time, whereas the previous five dispensations took only two thirds.  We are at the end of the age of grace."

Thought for the Day 2

"We are nearing the end of six thousand years of man’s history, since time was recorded. And we believe (based on the apostle’s writings and the testimony of Jesus) that the resurrection of Jesus Christ was the beginning of the dispensation of grace, also known as the end of the age. Up until the resurrection of Jesus, five previous dispensations of time passed, covering approximately four thousand years.

1st Edenic covenant or dispensation
2nd Adamic or conscience dispensation
3rd Noahic or human government dispensation
4th The Abrahamic covenant
5th Mosaic or the law covenant
Then Jesus ushered in the 6th dispensation of time called the dispensation of Grace. And the 7th dispensation, where we are headed, is the kingdom age."

Thought for the Day 2

"Couple all this prophetic language that provides insight as to where you are in God's time line and let's read Hebrews 9:24-26, "For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: V25Nor yet that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; V26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself."
If there was ever any question in your mind that the time you live in is the end of the age, I hope this verse dispels it. The writer of Hebrews has a clean understanding, that the dispensation of grace, that the writer was living in, was also the same dispensation of time at the end of the age."

Excerpt from The Power of God Thinking II by Keith C. Powell Copyright 2012

Thought for the Day 2

"The second and third question is answered in Matthew 24:3-13, but the best description of when Jesus is going to return is found in Luke 21:25-27. Luke 21:25-27, "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars, and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; V26 Men=s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the power of heaven shall be shaken. V27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great joy."

The third question, "When will be the end of the world", i.e., the end of the age, is best answered in Matthew 24:4-13, "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. V5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. V6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. V7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. V8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.  V9 then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for My name's sake. V10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. V11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. V12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. V13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. V14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."

Take special note of V12, "And because iniquity shall abound,..." This is a key verse for the time we live in. Iniquity shall abound. The worst possible kinds of evil are openly practiced, not only across the world, but right here in our country and our city. Wicked, evil, vile, abominable behavior, of all kinds, is not only tolerated, but in many cases, protected by law. There has always been iniquity, but not like what has been unleashed in our generation. We are at the end of the age."

Thought for the Day 2

"C.I. Scofield, in his commentary on Matthew chapter 24 says it like this: "All" (referring to all scripture references concerning the end of the age) - "All that has characterized the age gathers into an awful intensity at the end."  (i.e., the end of the age).

Technology is advancing so rapidly that it cannot even be tracked. As soon as you think you are up-to-date, you find out that there is faster and better available, somewhere. This ultra-rapid pace, in a spiritually declining world, is what God prophesied would happen at the end of the age. There is an end of the age and it is accurately exampled in Matthew 24:3 and paralleled in Luke 21.

Matthew 24:3, "And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?"

Jesus addresses three issues here:
1 The end, i.e., the destruction of Jerusalem (that took place in AD 70)
2 The sign of the coming of the Lord, Jesus
3 The end of the world (age)

Luke better records the answer to the first question, When will Jerusalem be destroyed? and that is found in Luke 21:20-24, "And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. V21 Then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are i the countries enter thereinto. V22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. V23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! For there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. V24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled."  The times of the Gentiles was not fulfilled until 1948.

Thought for the Day 2

"Dont get this mixed up. You are not going to get more saved than you are right now becaue you gain knowledge and wisodm and get into a deeper realtionship with Gods.. This is not about intellect, i. e., 'The smarter people get more of God.' That isn't true. This is not about works, as if by working you could achieve or receive salvation. That isn't true.  This is about moving forward with God and becoming as close and intimate as possible with God. It is about understanding, that only by growing in Christ can you move forward and enjoy more of what God has available.

Example:
  • Do you remember a time when you did not know Christ?
  • Do you have the same power and authority over your life that you had then?
  • Since you came to a personal relationship with Christ, has your faith increased?
  • Recently, have you learned or received from God new truths or revelation that has helped you develop a better understanding of yourself and increase your faith?
OK. God is pouring out His Spirit in these last days. For those who don't think it is the last days or for those who just haven't given it much thought, that's OK, but God's foreordained timetable for the length of years that He intends to allow mankind to function under this current dispensation (the dispensation of grace) is coming to an end.  And at this end of the age or the completion of the dispensation of grace, there will be an escalation of all things. Everything will increase, multiply, advance, escalate at rapid rates, more rapid than any other time in all history. The close - or the end of the age will be ushered in by God, very, very fast."

Thought for the Day 2

"Thesr are three places that represent the relationship between God and man, when man is moving toward a closer relationship with God. Now, in your every day experience, you have a relationship with God, however deep or however shallow, you have a relationship with God, the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The quality of that relationship is based on your overall experience with God. In whatever state of awareness, understanding, faith, belief your current experience represents, you have full - access, vision, authority, provision and protection that, that state of awareness, understanding, faith, belief provides.

Each time you receive new truth - revelation or understanding, your faith is increased, so that you have full - access, vision, authority, provision and protection within the new parameters that the new truth - revelation or understanding provides.

Think of it this way: With the education, skills, talent, understanding, faith and belief that you have today -you can access whatever is available within those parameters. As you expand your horizons and increase your knowledge, skills, talent, understanding, faith and belief, you can access whatever is available within those parameters. Just as there are more options for employment, investments, opportunities and choices for those with more education, skills and talent - there are more options for wisdom, healing, faithfulness and answered prayer for those with greater understanding, greater faith and deeper belief."

Thought for the Day 2

"God Thinking teaches you to be under the spout where the glory pours out. And right now, God is pouring out His Spirit and taking you from one faith to another and from one glory to another, truth by truth, precept upon precept.

In the Old Testament we learned about the Tabernacle where wprshippers would come. There is the outer court - the inner court - and the Holy of Holies. In our times there is a spiritual outer court - inner court - and Holy of Holies. At each of these places, there is everything we need to be there.  Each place has all the components within its sphere to fully operate under its premise/authority.

When you are in the outer court, you cannot see in the inner court, nor can you see in the Holy of Holies - but you have full access, vision, authority, provision and protection that the outer court provides while you are in the outer court.

When you are in the inner court, you cannot see in the Holy of Holies - but you have full access, vision, authority, provision and protection that the inner court provides while you are in the inner court.  In the inner court there is more revelation than in the outer court, because you are closer to the things of God when you are in the inner court.

When you are in the Holy of Holies, you have full access, vision, authority, provision and protection that the Holy of Holies provides. In the Holy of Holies, there is more revelation than in the outer court or the inner court, because you are closer to the things of God when you are in the Holy of Holies."

Thought for the Day 2

"Truly the foundation of God thinking is the Word of God. Without the pure essence of the Holy Writ, this book and all others pertaining to God would be shallow and unfulfilling. Without the Word there is no power, no confirmation and no revelation. 2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

This is what I believe.

Note: When I am going through a trial I find scriptures that speak to my situation and write them down and carry them with me to remind me of the truth about my situation. Without such truths, left to my own thinking, I could not bear this world and all that comes to pass. Find some scriptures that speak to you this way and read them until you are convinced that God knows what He is doing."

Thought for the Day

Ephesians 5:18 "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;"  Be filled with the things of God, His messages, His ways, His freedom, His power, His healing, His words, His love, His direction.

Revelation 1:10 "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,"

2 Timothy 4:22 "The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen."

  • It's time to let your spirit do the walking.
  • It's time to become spiritual and let God have His way with you.
  • It's time to start following your spirit as often as you follow your flesh.
  • It's time to experience the flow of God in your spiritual veins.
  • It's time to let go and let God - to believe His promises and start stepping out in faith.
Can you sense the Spirit of God speaking to you. God wants in. It's time to let Him in. It's time to turn some things off and to turn on the Word and let it sink to the root of your being and transform you. God has spoken. What is God telling you right now? Do it.

Thought for the Day

"I am going to read a few familiar passages of scripture, but from an unfamiliar context. I want you to get the truth behind how important it is to sense, in the spirit and them move on it.

Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
2 Corinthians 5:7 "(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)"

Acts 17:16 "Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry."

Galatians 5:25 "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.@ Ephesians 3:16 AThat He (God) would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;"

Ephesians 4:22-24 "That you put off concerning the former conversation (manner of life) the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; V23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; V24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."

The new man, is the one that senses God's will and moves forward, just as if they had seen it or touched it. The new man is the one that fights the flesh to be conformed to the image of God."

Thought for the Day

"John 4:23-24 "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. V24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth."

See the Word, must. This is revelation, not pressure. This is freedom, not imposing rule and regulation. This word must was placed here to give you insight into who you are.  When you begin to sense, in the spirit:
  • What to do next
  • Where to go next
  • Who to help next
  • When to go next
When you begin to operate and make decisions based on your, sensing in the spirit. My God, can you see this? You ought to be jumping up and down. God has provided light in a dark place. I am confirming by the Word of God that it is OK to use your spirit to make decisions. Not just OK, but required. The people of God move by the spirit of God. They utilize their spirit to receive God, to receive from God the things of God."

Thought for the Day

"God has prepared a plan for us, so that we could be at perfect peace with Him, while in the world (in direct contact with the ungodly, in direct contact with the consequences of wickedness and sin, failure, deceit, sickness, hatred, prejudice, unfaithfulness, ungodliness) but not of the world. Hear the Word of the LORD. John 17:13-20 "And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. V14 I have given them thy Word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. V15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from evil. V16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. V17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy Word is truth. V18 As thou hast sent Me into the world, even so have I sent them into the world. V19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. V20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them which shall believe on Me through their word;"

The world that we are in, but not of, is: (any and all belief systems, philosophies, religious systems, political systems, world powers, jurisdictions, corporate powers, businesses, partnerships, individuals, anything, any place or anyone that does not allow the integration and recognition of God in them.)

Thought for the Day

"If God draws you into a place He has prepared for you, your spirit feels perfectly at home. Your body and your mind may pitch a fit or rebel or throw a temper tantrum, but your spirit will be at perfect peace. Just the same, if you are involved in or seeking that which has not been prepared for you by God, your body and mind may want it or seek it, but your spirit will stand against it and you will not have peace.

The Spirit of God will not compromise and give you comfort in anything that has not first been purified and prepared for you by God. Think about it.
  • Would you bring your kids into a situation that you knew would bring them harm?
  • Would you take them to a place that you knew would take away their innocence?
  • Would you send them somewhere you knew would separate them from God?
God will not bring His children into these places either. Do you sense that this is true?"

Thought for the Day

"Every day, you are confronted with options that demand your attention. Even though your spirit senses and determines what is right and should be pursued, and senses what is wrong and should be avoided - your mind rationalizes to get what it wants and your body craves to get what it wants.

The spirit calls the inner man to high and holy ground. The spirit is pure and holy and healthy. The spirit reveals, unveils, unlocks, enlightens, lifts, frees, empowers, and encourages us to be like Christ.

The flesh often:
  • Succumbs
  • Is easily tricked
  • Is stubborn
  • Refuses instruction
  • Hides things
  • Is selfish
  • Is not concerned about our quality of life
  • Chooses pleasure over discipline
The mind often:
  • Is easily deceived
  • Quite often chooses the lesser road
  • Is sometimes irrational
  • Rationalizes what it wants
  • Is easily provoked
  • Chooses escape above commitment
The spirit:
  • Is not easily deceived
  • Is not easily influenced unless it is God, because your spirit is the closest part of yourself to God.
When something is of God - or - when we are in God's plan
  • Your spirit comes alive and is made full.
  • You can sense the connection.
  • There is peace that passes understanding.
  • There is freedom.
  • There is no pressure.
  • Faith is released - like water coming from a fountain.
  • Belief is engaged
You can sense it."

Thought for the Day

"Your mind and your flesh can easily be influenced to compromise what is best for you and keep you from entering in or remaining in God's plan for your life. Think on this for a moment. Unless you allow God to have freedom to operate in you and through you, your mind and your body cannot be trusted. Your mind and your flesh can be at war with your spirit. When they are at war, when the mind and the body want something bad enough, that is not of God, not part of His plan for our life. The body and the mind can war against your spirit to the death. Only by the grace of God, given to those who love God, can you overcome and win that inner war.

This kind of war is not won in a one time experience, like getting saved or being baptized in the Holy spirit or being sanctified. If you are going to overcome - if you are going to have victory, every day, every war requires God's supernatural intervention. It takes daily commitment to the things of God to get into God's plan for your life and to live in God's plan for your life. God made it this way. God thinking is about God's plan."

Thought for the Day

"Let's look at one facet of the spiritual life that is activated in your life if you are in (in your own understanding) God's plan.

We sense it.

Your spirit, not your mind or body is always first to know everything. You sense in your spirit what is right. You sense in your spirit what is wrong. When something is of God, your spirit agrees with the Spirit of God, that it is God. Your spirit is the one true indicator. Let me ask you, "do you really trust your body to always tell you the truth or to do what is right?" "Do you really trust your mind to always think the right thoughts or to make the right decision?" Ouch!!!

Thought for the Day

"What God has prepared for you, is what you really, really, really want. If you are in what God has prepared for you, there is:
  • No more guessing - No more confusion
  • No more wandering - No more uncertainty
You become sure of yourself. You believe God. You trust God. You commune with God. You adore Him. You worship Him. I am telling you about something that I know about.

If ever there was a reason to receive the word of the Lord - it is now. If you have established that God has a plan and prepares the way for those who love Him, God draws you into what He has prepared for you."

Thought for the Day

"When you establish a plan, you are on the beginning side of that plan. You operate with available knowledge and resources. You start, not knowing what's ahead in five years, two years, next month, next week, even next hour. You accumulate what you think you need, based on what others accumulated that they thought they needed. You operate in the dark so to speak.

Now watch this! When God establishes a plan - He sees the end from the beginning:
  • God establishes each plan with full knowledge and unlimited resources.
  • God starts knowing the end from the beginning. God knows the five years from now, the two years, next month, next week, the next hour.
  • God doesn't need to accumulate anything to bring His plan to pass, He starts with everything.
  • God operates in the light.
What God has prepared for you, He has done with full understanding of every facet, every moment, every obstacle, every burden, every complication, every cost, every enemy, everything - And with this God provides every need, every component, every tool, every way of escape, every open door, every opportunity, every asset, every friend, every everything to fulfill His plan for your life."

Thought for the Day

"There is a difference in those in whom God loves and those in whom love God. Are you with me? A lot of people who love God are living with someone who God loves.

  • The one who loves God is trying to figure out ways to bless you and me right now.
  • The one who God loves might still be home in bed.
  • The one who loves God - thinks about God every day.
  • The one who God loves - thinks about a great many things.
  • The one who loves God - prays for themselves and others as led by the Spirit of God.
  • The one who God loves - prays when it is convenient.
  • The one who loves God - seeks the scriptures to make them pure.
  • The one who God loves - seeks for loopholes so they can be in the world and of the world with God's approval.
There is a difference in those who love God and those whom God loves, Athe things which God hath for them that love Him@ - are prepared for them."

Thought for the Day

"I said, "I am going to teach you something today that is going to advance your spirit to the next place that God has prepared for you, if you receive it." I say, if you receive it, because when God sheds His light among men/women, it does not have to be received. You can receive it - you can reject it. If you receive new light - unveiled truth - in the spirit you rejoice. You are elated - you are built up - you are empowered. God only takes His people where He has already prepared a place for them.

God has prepared a plan for your life. 1 Corinthians 12:9 "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him."

Notice that God did not say what He has prepared for them that He loves, (everyone throughout the whole world), but for those that love Him, the remnant, (a small group of people who have found that what God does for them, even in their sleep, is better than all else that is done or can be accumulated or accomplished apart from Him)."

Thought for the Day

"I am going to teach you something today that is going to advance your spirit to the next place that God has prepared for you, if you receive it. I say place instead of level or rung on the spiritual ladder, because we, (the body of Christ) receive the same truths of God at different times.

Maturing spiritually in Christ, isn't determined by learning or knowing something that no one else knows, somehow separating you or me from others by advanced understanding. Maturing spiritually in Christ is practicing what we know and sharing it with someone else so they too can receive the supernatural blessings from God that we have received from God.

I say practicing, because knowing a truth does not advance your spirit. You must practice truth before it takes root in you and makes fruit. Truth revealed that stays concealed is religion.

Truth revealed that moves a man or woman and spurs them to action that glorifies God is Christianity.

Thought for the Day

"God Thinking teaches you to put the things of God "on top" in the mind, and to take all else and push it down and out. We do this so that we can be like Christ, relationally. This is the goal of God Thinking, because this is the will of God. Hear the Word of the Lord.

Romans 12:1-2  "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
