Thought for the day

"God is looking for the faithful, those who are not seeking loopholes in God's plan, but those who believe it. Many are called, but few are chosen. Many Christians today believe that knowledge of salvation is the same as experiencing salvation. Many believe that knowledge of being filled with the Spirit is the same as being filled with the Spirit. Many believe that knowledge of the righteousness of Christ is the same as experience the righteousness of Christ.

  • The faithful seek out ways to be in His presence, not ways to escape His presence.
  • The faithful seek opportunity to serve, not swerve.
  • The faithful seek new ways to obey God, not new ways to justify old habits.
God-thinking holds that the kind of faith that trusts God is the real faith and the kind of faith that manipulates God is not faith at all."
