Thought for the day

"If it is the outcome of prayer that you build your faith, it is no faith at all. Faith must be blind to every outcome, every negative thought, every idle word that could derail it (faith) from its mission. For the mission and the substance of faith are both supernatural and require interaction by God to fulfill its intended purpose. The mind is only the host of faith, faith being given by God. This faith that is given by God is given in measure in equal proportion to your faithfulness.

Nehemiah 7:1-2 "Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, (the wall around Jerusalem), and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed. V2 That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many."

God-thinking purports it is noble to be faithful unto God. Right here is where so many well meaning Christians get confused. They think they are responsible for their measure of faith and they are not.
You are responsible for your faithfulness, but God gives the faith."
